  1. here you go...http://l-tunedparts.com/model/struct.php?model_id=29&cat_id=12 it should be the first one at the top. you might be able to find some cheaper options by doing a google search or possibly ebay?
  2. Here's an article from Motor Trend too. I think it'll answer most of your questions. "Most of our minor complaints have been addressed by Lexus with the introduction of the '02 IS 300. The best news is the car is finally available with a five-speed manual transmission, which makes it even more of a joy to drive. Some of the unexpected surface wear we experienced, as well as the armrest gripe, have also met with upgrading this year. As if that weren't enough, there are two new variants: The ultra-attractive not-quite-wagon not-quite-sedan called the SportCross and a limited-availability TRD-packaged model called the IS 300 L Tuned. IS sales remain brisk, and it's been successful at attracting even younger buyers to the Lexus fold. With this new generation and its running improvements and enhanced performance (see sidebar), Lexus will continue to enjoy the success it earned with the IS 300--and deservedly so. What's New, Changed, Different It appears Lexus heard the loudest criticism of its otherwise capable compact sport sedan, and for '02, added a five-speed manual transmission accompanied by an even more communicative suspension. On the unexpected side, Lexus threw in a model variant to the U.S. lineup with the SportCross, which is effectively a (smallish) sport wagon. In a limited run of about 5000 units annually, the SportCross is available only with the IS 300's five-speed E-Shift automatic transmission. New comfort features across the entire IS 300 lineup include auto-dimming inside (and driver's side outside) mirrors with compass, a new center armrest, and the dashboard now has more black coverage with a softer look and feel. A full leather interior, ivory or black, is a new option while the leather/ecsaine remains standard. Buyers can replace the standard chrome shift knob with a leather one. Navigation-challenged individuals will find this year's optional on-board system easier to use and faster functioning. Finally, two suspension and styling packages (Series I and II) were made available under the L-Tuned moniker. Debuting first in the Western states, the $3999 and $7698 packages are meant for those who wish to customize their cars, but don't have the inclination or experience to do so. Available at selected dealerships, the factory- and warranty-backed packages were developed by Toyota Racing Development (TRD)."
  3. If you mean the SportDesign version, I think the only difference are the wheels the car comes with and a muffler cap. I actually have a gun metal 03 SportDesign with factory navigation
  4. If you're having trouble finding an actual L-Tuned version of the IS300, you can check out this site www.l-tunedparts.com. They have the carson body kit which is suppose to be a replica of the body kit that came of the L-Tuned IS300. As for the extra suspension stuff that came with the L-Tuned IS300, I believe they were just rebranded eibach products. Also, the 04 and 05 IS300 came with memory seats (I think there were two settings?) if that's something that interests you. That's most of the things I know, but I'm sure someone with more experience will fill in the rest for me.
  5. this might not answer your questions entirely, but i remember smooth saying that a max of 40 hp can be obtained from bolt-on mods. how much quicker that would make your car...i don't think that was ever answered http://us.lexusownersclub.com/forums/index...=41065&st=0
  6. I agree with bartkat. My friend has an evo 9 and I know I'll never keep up with him in my stock IS300. However, I'd like to think of myself as a pretty safe driver for only being 17. I've had this car for over a year now without any tickets or accidents, but my friend with the evo has already had two tickets. I figure I could put that money he wasted from being pulled over to good use.
  7. congrats. i'm looking foward to seeing how much hp you'll be getting out of this set up because i've asked a lot of questions about these two parts in the past. does anyone know of any other minor mods, besides an intake, that might help increase the hp after the headers and exhaust system are put on? i'm sure brosnibean might want to know, and myself of course.
  8. Thanks a lot smooth. Are there any good intakes you've had experiences with and would recommend?
  9. Hey everyone. I was wondering if anyone could explain to me the benefits of using a cold air intake over a short ram intake, or vice versa. I know they differ in the types of air they let flow through them, but what are the benefits of one or the other?
  10. I had a question similar to this a while ago. Here's what some of the people said in my thread. http://us.lexusownersclub.com/forums/index...mp;#entry265829 Hope it helps.
  11. Are there any cheap solutions to changing the color of the foglights? Are there bulbs i just need to replace? I really hate the yellow and would like to change it to match the headlights.
  12. i asked something similar to this before, and if you just youtube it i'm sure you'll find some nice sound clips
  13. haha...wish i could've been in your passenger seat to see that
  14. Does anyone know of any other cheaper brands of wheels that closely resemble the 7-spoke L-Tuned wheels?
  15. Thanks a lot. I'll try doing the cleaning this weekend and see how it goes.
  16. Does anyone have a picture tutorial for cleaning out the 02 sensors? My gas mileage for the latest tank isn't looking too good again...
  17. Yea, I'm using 91 octane. I've reset my ECU by unplugging the battery, so we'll see how that goes.
  18. I've heard other people complain about some poor gas mileage they're getting, and I'm one of the victims. I just filled my tank with about 13 gallons after driving only 200 miles (all in the city). That's just a little over 15. Shouldn't I be getting about 18? I don't push my car too much either, and drive conservatively most of the time. Any suggestions for what's wrong?
  19. I've heard people say you can gain about 5 HP from just resetting the ECU. Is this true? How do you do this?
  20. This may be a stupid question, but where would you go to get a retuned chip for the CAI and exhaust if you decided not to go with the SRT?
  21. So about a 40 HP gain would be where bolt on mods would max out?
  22. hey big...what kind of hp gains have you been able to get with the intake, exhaust, and header combo? i've got an automatic too
  23. Does anyone know...In terms of HP, what brands would produce best intake, headers, and exhaust combo assuming that money is not an issue? How much would it cost and what would be the predicted HP gains? Thanks.
