  1. I just bought the new version of these tires Pilot Sport A/S Plus. These tires have a 45K mileage warranty from Michelin. They were about $235 each at Costco - $1004 out the door. I actually bought them from America's Tires since they have allow you to make appointments for the free tire rotations. It would have been about $75 higher but they always match Costco's out the door price - actually about $10 less. I've only had the tires for about two weeks but they seem quieter than the Dunlop original equipment. Hello duhmel, I just put a set of the pilot sports A/S + on my 2007 LS460, after reading the reviews on tire-rack and ther sites. as you, I also liked the 45K warranty after only getting 27K out of the OEM dunlops. Now that you've had these tires for a few months are you satisfied?"
  2. Iasked if the newest software update would remove the I agree prompt and was told that the new software does not fix this , that you have to have the new OS and that cannot be replaced at least in the 2007 model
  3. My 5 week old LS 460 with 1500 miles has the wind-noise problem on the drivers side window. My service advisor opened a Case ticket with Lexus and I'm told that a Lexus FTS will oversee the repair-not sure if that involves the 460L window and moulding as I've seen on some of the other posts. I'll update.
  4. UPDATE: I spoke to the service advisor who seemed to be well aware of the problem-he took over the description of the problem mid-way through my explination. He stated that it was an issue with the springs in the front-end and that they would have to replace some rubber bushings, he also made the comment that Lexus was aware of the issue and that there was talk of Lexus redesigning a new sping later this year, but nothing definite at this point. I'll update after the repair UPDATE: The initial fix was going to be to install "dampers"-rubber sleeves over the front coil springs. After several days I was told that Lexus had provided the new designed coil springs and the dealer would be installing these instead of the dampers. I've had the car back for 4 days and no more front end noise.
  5. I met with my service advisor on Friday to discuss a ccouple of the issues with my 4 wek old LS460 with 1400 miles. I asked him what he thought of the LS460 and if there was anything that I as a new owner should be on the look out for and his response was "wind-noise".

  7. Hello, New to the board and I was wondering if any of you have experienced this same issue? I have a new LS460 with approx 1400 miles about a month old. When parking or turning slow I'm noticing a dull "pop" type sound-almost like linkage connecting or moving together. Someone mentioned they though it could be the Brake Calipers. I'm taking it into the dealership tomorrow morning to have it checked out. Thanks
