  1. Thanks for the info. I've exchanged emails with Howard at quickconnectproducts.com, and they don't make a harness for a Motorola car kit that will work with the RX300.
  2. I'm installing a Bluetooth hands-free system in my 2002 RX300 with Navigation. Can anyone tell me where I can pick up a wire or pin in the Lexus audio wiring so that I can mute the audio system with my Bluetooth unit? Thanks!
  3. I've read a "gazillion" threads here on LOC about programming the remote for my 2002 RX300. It appears there are two "phases" to the programming, if I'm reading correctly. The first phase is to get the remote to lock/unlock the doors, etc. The second phase is to get the car to recognize the transponder so that the car will start when the key is turned. My question is this: If I buy a used remote on eBay, what do I need to do (besides getting a new key cut)? In other words, do I need to do both steps -- getting the remote to open the doors AND getting the car to recognize the transponder, or does the car automatically recognize the transponder? FWIW, I have one remote key, the valet key, and the "credit card" key, and they all work fine. I just want to get another remote key and don't want to pay the "stealership" a fortune in the process. Any help or guidance would be appreciated. Thanks, all! Scott
  4. How do I remove and replace the dash tweeter in my 2002 RX 300? Thanks!
  5. How do I replace the rear hatch gasket in my 02 RX 300? Mine has deteriorated/torn. Thanks!
  6. I've owned a British car, a German car, two Japanese cars (including my 02 RX 300), and an American muscle car. The RX 300 is, by far, the worst car I've ever had. And, the so-called factory service is a joke. Do I sound like I'm singing sour grapes? You bet, but when you spend $40,000 on a car you expect quality. Dollar-for-dollar, the RX300 is the biggest disappointment I've ever owned, and I will NEVER purchase a Lexus or Toyota product again. My next car? Anything but a Lexus.
