  1. Did anyone figure out what the problem was for this? Was it the OCV? Where is the OCV on the LS400?
  2. I removed the carpet on the right side of the gas pedal like the direction said, but there is not heater unit or filter there. I also checked under the glove box and I see the heater motor but I saw no filter. Does the 2000 ES300 have a fcabin filter?
  3. For my ES300 with the CD player, I took out the glove compartment, but I never did find where the filter went. Does anyone know? Andy
  4. The last O2 sensor I believe is in the middle of the car I think right at the muffler. If you check your exhaust run, you will see an o2 sensor in it half way down the car.
  5. Well, I just bought a scanning tool and read the engine code and it was P0171 (fuel is lean). I also did a O2 sensor test and it said O2 Bank 1 Sensor 2 sensor has errors. Where is sensor 2? Is it the one next to the firewall? Hopefully it is just the O2 sensor and not something else. What does everyone recommend brand for the O2 sensor? Also would this be a upstream or downstream sensor? In addition, I have noticed that when I stomp on the gas when the car is moving that I hear a flutter like noise from the engine compartment. If anyone has driven beside a big desiel truck it sounds like that with the valves fluttering. Though when the car is parked and I stomp on the gas, the noice is not there. Anyone know what this noise is? Thanks Andy Edit: I took the MAF sensor out and cleaned it and the codes went away. in addition, the fluttering also went away. car runs great.
  6. Thanks, I did not know about the website before. Though for the center console armrest, all I need is the top lid, $171 for the complete armrest is expensive. Andy
  7. I have a 2000 ES300, but having a hard time finding center console parts for the ES300, was going to try to look for camry center consoles but was wondering if they were compatible? Andy
  8. I've been told that higher octane gas is not that much better unless your engine requires a higher temperature during combustion. So if you use regular which burns at a lower temperature, your engine might misfire. i do not know how often this happens in the ES, just what someone told me in another forum. andy
