I could use any and all help with this. I got my lovely '96 SC300 from my Mom with 130k miles. She now owns an RX.
Back to my problem tho. Its an automatic. When I press on the gas while driving normally, Before the car gets to the RPMs it should shift at I hear a scrapping, rattling sort of noise. There is no change in performance other than staying in gear longer. I have to then press on the gas a little more to peak the RPMs a bit to get the car to shift into the overdrive gear.
Again any and all help is appreciated.
