On the wiper control arm you should see the word 'AUTO' printed on a collar that rotates and aligned with four incrments from '-' to '+'. I leave mine set on the third setting from the '-' which makes it slightly more sensitive but not at maximum sensitive. Also, I have to move the level to the second position for the auto wiper feature to engage. Raising the level as far up it will go is off and the next position down is the automatic setting. The third is 'on' slow and the fourth 'on' fast.

I purchased a Grom audio adapter to replace my 6 disk CD-changer with my ipod and I'm having a difficult time trying to remove the CD-changer. Does anyone know the trick? 2005 ES 330

For the ES330 it's a snap to replace the nav DVD. With some other models that's not the case. I hope you find the PDF helpful. B) nav_install.pdf

I just purchased a 05' ES330 with Nav & ML sound and I really didn't gain an appreciation for the ML sound until I spent about 20 hours crusing to Florida and back over the Memorial weekend. I was able to hear sounds on my CD's I don't think I've ever heard before from within the confines of an automobile cruising at 70+. The sound is really incredible. My wife's RX doesn't have ML sound and she really noticed a big difference. I did note that the version 4.2 maps were saddly out of date. I've ordered an upgrade. I understand some of the controls and nav functions are improved with the 8.1 update. If you haven't made the purchase yet, see if you can get the seller to spring for the update.

I just purchased a 2005 ES330 with navigation but the original DVD is missing. Will an upgrade DVD work or do I need to install a different DVD and then upgrade?

Where is the carbon canister located? Is it difficult to replace? Where's the best place to order a replacement?
