  2. Dude that would be way too much custom work just either decide to re do your seats or just through some racing seats in there and yes they are *BLEEP*ing heavy i launched mine and threw some racing seats on their and it is a big differance. no more sliding around in the seat. by the way if you go that way your gonna wanna order the supra seat brakets to make it work that or somthing custom
  3. Dude i just did mine (92 SC300) last weekend and it took about four hours i accidently broke plug # 4 so that took me a little longer to get it out of there but other than that besure your well equiped with a assortment of spark plug extention tools
  4. Hey man, just sayin that car is Sic!! thats the most amount of taste i think see done. good good bro!
  5. Hey bro yea i think thats a bit too step too unless ur absalutly sure its solid michanically i bought my 92 with the same problems exept body damage and i only paid 3,600 for mine once i got taxes, title ,and plates it was about 4 g's altogether then my clutch went out and parts were about avarage but labor was a !Removed! cause i had to take it to the dealer cause the local guys wouldnt touch it. but it runs like a champ now
  6. Does any body have or know of a piggy back for SC300"s? i looked around and the only ones im really finding are the ones for NA supras... anybody got a clue???
  7. yea i got pain that and i also have to put those air dams things back in. and im gonna paint those all at the same time. i took them out to adjust my head light and now more light gets in there and my rusty rotors are really noticeable. but honestly i got other things im more focused on. im trying to fix my interior so its gonna be crusty for a bit :cries: i just pulled the car out of storage so shes a bit crusty :(
  8. :whistles: i'd actually wish more people would post more pics of their mods for the common guy like me to view. i dont think my car's the greatest but i hope my pics help others choose springs and strut / wheel combos to fit their needs
  9. yea im happy with it! also i dont know how other people drive their rides but i like to get on the throttle a bit in the twisties. its great in the curves. and over all handles a bit better with my spirited driving heres an other pic i took today
  10. As of right now im not experiancing any tire issues if the camber is off it not noticable at this time. i also have no bottoming out issues either but i still take speed bumps and othe obsticles with caution another thing that i find perticullary weird is most times when lowering a car you need a aligment, but my car retains perfect aligment! maybe just a weird fluck huh.
  11. here is the front and back a few days later close up. the tire gap to fender is more than a finger but less than 2. the ride it gives me now is a bit ruffer than stock but alot tighter and more responsive. i didnt buy the car to drive miss daisy so this is what i was looking for. its not so bad of a ride even tho its more stiffer. it is fairly similar to the stock ride of a T-Bird or camero or some thing with a similar wheel base
  12. i just put tanabes nf210's on my 92 SC300 with tokio shocks i like it!! i have 18 x8 Falken Koblenz with Falken with falken 512's in size 18x245x40 the picture i have are immiediatly after i dropped it. afew days later after it seemed as the suspention settled or somthing and looked a bit better
  13. Hey Guys i have a 92 sc300 that im gonna be lowering and am wondering which springs have given u the best looks. im going for as close to a 1 1/2 inch i can get. im sure i will be going with tanabe's but am curious what others have on their rides. the ride sports 225/40/18's. also which struts work with what u got? any major issues with negitive camber or control arms? any info would be great B)
  14. There's a small square shaped vent thingy on the dash near the keyhole area, it's hard to explain but it's positioned in front of your right knee... behind that small vent there's some sort of temperature sensor thing... when I installed my alarm I forgot to plug that thing back into it's harness and I experience the same thing you did. Try that, maybe it's causing your problem. If anyone can reply with the actual name of the parts I'm referring to, it would help LOL hey man i had the same problem with mine. i only had the car for two weeks before putting it in storage for close to 9 months so i didnt want to spend the time or money. i just pulled the fuse. i know that aint the answer u need but atleast i hope it helps u stop sweating till u figure it out.
