While in the car wash today, I had my 2007 RX400h in neutral. Half way thru, a warning began to flash stating that I had to put the vehicle into the park position to charge the battery. I might add that the headlights, air cond and radio were on. When I got home, I checked the battery and it looked fully charged and up to par. Anyone have this problem??

How do you get rid of the maintenance required soon message that comes on @ startup???

I find that right after I wash my lexus and drive down the road, the back hatch and window get dirty. I have mudflaps, but due to the condition of the roads in my area (Salt and cinder residue) the back is dirty in no time. Anyone with any answers or ideas??

Sorry about that,fact is I did read the manual and no where in it did it tell me where to reset the warning message. If your manual is different, you might steer me towards resetting it, Kind regards, Rich

I own a 2007 lexus rx400h I have the oil changed every 4000 miles. I just had it done at a Toyota dealer. Every time I start the car I get a nastygram that says'"maint due soon" I was told by the Lexus dealer that a tech would call me and tell me that he'd walk me thru getting rid of it. Hasn't happened. Anyone had this problem and resolved it, if so, how??

Listen to AM all the time and have never noticed any RF interference from the HSD system. But it could be S/N ratio isssue if the station signal is weak. AM 1150 has a pretty strong signal in my area. Does you RF interference happen at all bands or just the one you listen to most? Is your station a relatively stong signal? Guess the stations are on the weak side, although, I also have a 2003 Avalon which gets the stations in a hell of a lot stronger and NO interference. Let's see, last time I looked I think I paid a lot more for the Lexus and this should not be an issue. I'm in the Poconos, and the closest and the strongest station is approx 45 miles, that's close as far as I'm concerned.

I have a 2007 RX400h. Since I primarily listen to talk radio, the FM band is wasted on me. Problem is when the car gets into the zone where the batteries are being charged,the white or blue zone on the meter, the static on the band I listen to is unbelievable. This also happens when the brakes are applied. I sent an email to Lexus with negative results as far as a reply. My salesman has contacted Lexus and they're aware of the problem Anyone else with the same issue??
