Hello, I have a RX300 (2001) and the nav system started giving the disc read error. I opened the ECU as mentioned above. This is a slightly different system and I did not find the reset switch. I did undo the cable. When I reconnected, it did the system update and then back to disc error. Help.

Hello, I have a 2001 RX300 with the navigation system. Last week, i started getting the message "Disk read error: check disk". Since these are old maps, I figured I will update them. However, after looking at some of these notes, it seems hard to figure out what I need to buy. seems like I need to get v6.1 to update my maps (around $275). However, ebay has some older DVDs for lot less. Anyone know how to figure out what DVDs will work in my system? Thanks,
