  1. Actually, I used the vehicle owner's last resort. I checked the manual and found someone had inadvertently turned off the electronic trunk system from the glove compartment. Problem solved. No harm, no foul.
  2. My trunk will not open with either the cabin "button," the electronic key or the release on the trunk lid. It will open with the metallic key. Although I sense a trip to the dealer, this is 2 hours drive, so any info would be appreciated.
  3. The air filter in the trunk is only available in the LWB version equipped with separate a/c in the back. The other one is in the glove compartment and two under the hood. Once you replace the filters, simply press the AC OFF button while pushing the ignition switch with your foot off the brake to reset the AC reminder. Make sure you hold the AC OFF button for at least 4 seconds and the system will reset the reminder. For some reason, I cannot get the system to reset and I still get the change filter warning. I am assuming the AC off button is the button labeled AC.
  4. Just received a recall notice on LS460 '07 to replace fuel rails. Stated may take 7 hrs of labor. What is the story on this?
  5. Silver 2007, not quite sure what you want
  6. It worked perfectly..Thank you so much. This is a great forum
  7. Due to several errant road nails, I had to have my tire patched and switched the spare to the L front position. Even though the tires are at the proper pressure (all 5 by the onboard sensor as well as external check) the tire replaced is highlighted in yellow on the display ( at 33 psi) and lo pressure warning is display. What gives?
  8. Love my Ls460 with 10k miles. For past several months when turning at slow speed series of "clunks" as turn more sharply. Not loud clunks but definitely there.Occurs turning L or R. It is not worsening, but I am 2 1/2 hrs from nearest dealer which is a inconvenient. Does this appear to need immediate attention ( I know I have already waited a few months) or can I wait until I have to take car in for other service? Any ideas as to possible cause.
  9. I searched the internet including Lexus-parts.com and everything seems available except this particular oil filter. I am going to go to the dealer and just make a day of it.
  10. Absolutely personal preference, but I am kinda a gray guy and love ( and own) the silver exterior, gray wood paneling and light gray leather. Monotonous but striking
  11. I do not live anywhere near a dealer and wanted my 2007 LS460 oil change locally. Mechanic said he could not get oil filter. After searching the internet, neither could I. Any suggestions?
