  1. Same problem here although phones are Sprint branded and are listed as Lexus compatible BT phones. Have tried multiple times to upload "Phonebook" "from phone" and system keeps requesting that I initiate upload and never makes it past that step. The dealer rep stated that the problem was with the Sprint brand. The rep was unable to upload contacts from the phone(s) after multiple attempts and gave up. After that I just uploaded "by voice" Great to hear :(, The contacts that I did enter manually dont have names shows "NO NAME" and when they call me just shows the number not the name. I have to say this is the worst bluetooth implementation I seen. Also the dialing from the listen button, why cant you just say "DIAL NAME", you have to go thru " DIAL BY NAME", "NAME", "Confirm" , press button WTF Ok I think I understand this system is not for storing all of contacts and such, its just to have main few in there. So I guess this is what the issue is. I`ll be adding few main contacts to it and assigning names/voice tag to them and putting them on the speed dial.... Thanks

  3. What psi are your tires at? I was just able to check the front tire and its was 40 or 41 and the side said that it supposed to be 32 so it does seem to be over inflated. I will be checking all tires today and making all 32, that should make it better!!! The manufacturer's suggested psi is 30 all-around (on my 09RX350AWD). It was the same on the old RX300 I had. I ran/run both at 32 psi, and am happy. The Michelins on the 09RX show max of 35 on the sidewall. I tried running them at 34 and they were too hard, the suspension 'crashed' a little. So, after a little experimentation - for me and I do not dispute others may differ - I found that the 'best' psi on the new RX was the same as for the old, i.e. 32. Let us know how it feels! Good luck! So I changed all the tires to 32-33 and the ride did get a bit better, but I think eather the suspension here just not as it was on the 2004 RX330 or the bridgestone tires are rough. Not too happy :( A comment on the tires. I was prepared to receive the Bridgestones based on posts suggesting Lexus went with these. As a matter of fact I made a comment of disappointment to my dealer--to my pleasant surprise, my RX came equipped with Michelins. I'm wondering if Lexus changed their approach to which tires to equip. I picked my vehicle up on Oct. 30th. Are others who have recently received delivery getting B's or M's? BTW, very happy with the ride of my RX--I find it better than my 05 RX.... Double reply: 1. If the ride at 32-33psi is tool hard, try 30psi. After all, that is the manufacturer's recommendation! 2. The 09RX had 18" rims, and the car came with Michelins. I believe the 17" rims mostly came with Bridgestones and, maybe, Goodyears. [i had Goodyear Integrity on the 99RX and they are the worst tire I have ever driven. Replaced them with BF Goodrich Long Trail Tour (new design), and the BFG are great: comfortable, good in dry and snow, long wearing.... Maybe slightly less mpg than the Goodyears]. I like the Michelins. Well my thing on the door says 32psi. I had Goodyears on my 2004RX and I like them, I guess I`ll just get used to it, but to me it almost feels like a downgrade

  6. Cool! Actually, the "factory" stored mine in the custom tailored "glove" box. I guess I could store it in the bottom of the big spacious console but would then have take out the sliding tray, box, and the 10 lb manual in order to utilize the aux port, USB input, and power points. Gosh, if I had read the manual I would have been able to find the center console space. Thanks for the tip! Based on this, it does not say anything about the manual. https://secure.drivers.lexus.com/lexusdrive...l&locale=en
  7. I have an issue and maybe its just me, I posted in the other thread about bluetooth, I dont have NAV and I dont understand why I cant have it not auto-play when it connects ? and another major issue is driving, I feel like I feel every single bump in the road, I had a 2004 RX330 and it drove like a luxury car this feels like a TRUCK, on the highway it seems to be smooth, but on a regular road and on speed bumps I can feel it going thru me...... Anyone else ? Is it just my RX ?
  8. I think the Lexus owners manual is confusing because it mixes instructions on using voice commands with instructions for using the knob. Maybe it would help, at least for now, to ignor all owners manual instructions for using voice commands and to use only the knob. So ... after you send the address book entry from your phone, turn the knob until you find the the address book entry on the car's display. After you have found the entry on your car's display, press the knob to "confirm". I hope you are successful! Thanks, Thats the thing when I do confirm, unless I missed a step somewhere, I seems to want a voice command to record it..... and if I do "go back" the entry doesnt save, so the question is this does every single entry needs a voice entry ? Thanks for your help its a bit frustrating, btw off this topic does audio device have ability to not autoplay when it connects ? Also way way way off topic, maybe its just me I`m coming from 2004 RX330 and 2000 ES300(which I still have) and the ride on 2010 RX AWD feels bumpy, I feels stiff I can feel every pothole and every little bump in the road, my 2004 RX drove like a smooth car and this one feels a bit bumpy. Anyone else with this issue or is it just me ?
  9. Take a deep breath. First, verify that your phone is compatible with the non-nav 2010 RX350 Bluetooth system: http://lexusbluetooth.letstalk.com/product...=1&model=RX If your phone is not in the list, you may be on your own for now. Also, Lexus is not responsible for the poor implementation of Bluetooth on many phone handsets. Become familiar with the section of your owners manual on Bluetooth. I've attached it for your convenience. Even if your phone is not listed on the Lexus website, page 362 of your RX owners manual has information about the requirements your handset must meet to be compatible. Thanks for the reply, but as you might of read I went thru all of this...... Its not the phone its the lexus system and there instructions, in the manual page 388 STEP2-3 Select the data to be registered by either of the follow- ing methods: a. Say “Previous” or “Next” until the desired data is dis- played, and select “Confirm” using a voice com- mand. b. Select the desired data using (pictures of the nub) What does that mean ? when I do book transfer it shows the first number there is no option to say prev or next it just shows the number/name and it wants a voice command to associate with the number.......
  10. Transferring contacts from the iPhone is not possible as that profile is not enabled. For the 2010 RX the transfer has to be initiated from the vehicle. Essentially the vehicle pulls the contacts from the iPhone using the phonebook access protocol which the iPhone supports. It seems transferring contacts is easier on vehicles with nav. According to the owners manual, it looks like you initiate transfer either by voice command or the bluetooth selector knob if you don't have nav. So it is possible, but the owners manual is kind of confusing in it's process. The manual says that the phone sends the contacts with phone book transfer. I see that I have to go to phonebook add entry, unless Im missing something ? Or is there another command that can be used ? You can use voice command "add entry" or use the tune-sel knob. Let's skip voice command and just use the sel knob. After "add entry" select "by phone" and then "confirm". Then it gets confusing as contact is then transferred but it isn't clear if you have to do anything on the phone to initiate or if it's automatic. I can't believe how poorly written the manual is written. For some stupid reason, if you transfer by voice command the contacts are referred to as phone numbers but if you transfer using the sel knob, your contacts are referred to as data. There's a third step that says select "next" to display data and select "confirm". Does this mean you can't transfer the phonebook only individual contacts? Sorry I can't be more helpful but the manual is very vague. This is crazy, eather I`m missing something or this thing is useless, I just decided to transfer the contacts one by one, by deleting the first entry that I already transferred and I went thru about 4 of them thinking that its all good, but then decided to check and none of them are in there, cuz I think it wants to record the voice name for each entry, thats crazy ! I`m also having another issue where bluetooth audio just starts playing when I get in to the car and stereo is set to BT-A. Basicly it autoplays .... I should of got the Navigation, I feel so bad that I didnt.....

  12. Getting so frustrated with this and looking for some help. I just got 2010 RX350 no Nav and trying to transfer contacts from my phones, I tried with iPhone and of course it doesn't support it, I tried with blackberry pearl 8120 and it only transfers the first contact in address book and then stops, any help would be appreciated. Thanks
  13. I bought the key blank shell off ebay for $19 and swapped the transmitter. My dealer cut the key for free because I bought a new battery from them for $8. Wow that pretty good I doubt that my dealer would cut it for free...
  14. I just used these folks, worked great. http://www.tcodesoftware.com/carkeyshells.html Thanks for the reply, they seem resanable, but how would I find out the keycode I bought this car from a private seller ? Should I just call lexus ?
  15. Hello, My key second key broke. The remote is still working, but the key it self is gone, I was going to buy another one from ebay (http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/NEW-2004-2005-04-05-LEXUS-RX330-RX-330-REMOTE-KEY-CASE_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQcategoryZ33723QQihZ008QQitemZ180261351913QQrdZ1QQsspagena eZWDVW) Is this good ? How much does it usually cost to cut the key ? Can it be dont anywhere like hardware store ?
  16. Sorry yozh- I was unfamiliar with the low profile mini fuse - must not be very widely used. I'm sure if you got the yellow pages out and let your fingers do the walking there are surely parts stores in your area that carry them. It doesn't seem that they are used widely enough to be carried by a lot of the stores. My experience is , from working in the automotive field that if you can find a parts store that sells to the dealers or independent shops that they will most likely carry them. (In your area) If you can find 1 that sells to Toyota or Lexus dealers (yes even dealers have to buy parts sometimes from independent parts stores), they will most surely carry them. Or for certain, Toyota or Lexus dealers would carry them. Good Luck! Thanks. I`ll do some searching.
  17. I was looking on the net and saw that they might be called low profile mini fuses is that true can any one confirm ? Any where to buy online just need 2 15amp ?
  18. I went to Strauss and they didnt have fuses like that. And cutting down a fuse its not a big deal, its just a conductor thats passing current and if its smaller or bigger doesnt metter, but it just doesnt fit in to the slot.... Not being from the east coast I don't know what Strauss is but I assume it's an auto parts store. I have never heard of an auto parts store not having mini fuses- that's just crazy! Are you sure this isn't a furniture store or a pharmacy? Go back again and look the guy in the eye and ask if this is a auto parts store and if he has mini fuses. If he tells you yes and no to your questions- back away slowly and turn and run. That's just crazy! No no they had mini fuses but they are not like this ones. The 2 that I need dont have contacts sticking out the contacts legs are fully exposed all the way thru.

Where can I get fuses like that ? just need 2 for the cig lighter and the power outlet. Any help is appreciated. Thanks
