I got same problem, car got caught in flash flood.. water over seats inside.. next week after it dried up, transmission started to act up. I ll turn key off and than restart and car will drice one or two block, than quits. wont move in drive or reverse. turn off key restart annd it will go again.take me thirt minutes to go to grocery stor six blocks away, but i aiant walking. what electronics are we talking about, i know there is a selonide insde transmissin, but no water got into transmission, also my built in phone quit, also radioquite. anybody please

my 95 es300 was caught in a flash flood area, water above seats. question, car drives great but after 2 miles transmission quit6s, accelerates but wont move. I turn key off for 10 15 seconds and it will drive off, but will quit again. Is there any thing electronic or electrical about these transmission? seems like it resets it self when i turn off key. in the past 50 yrs all cars i had, when transmission quit, it quit. wouldnt move again, but this will burn rubber when i restarted it, anybody got any suggestion, just bougt me another lexus, but want to keep old one for city driving.

mY 95 ES300 ELECTRIC FRON DRIVER SEAT WILL NOT RISE OR LOWER. IT WILL MOVE BACK AND FORWARD. ITS ALL IN ONE SWITCH. ANYBODY HAVE ANY IDEAS?
