I have a 93 sc300 with a transmission problem that is intermittent. No check engine light has come on. The tranny will jump in and out of over drive and sometimes fourth gear. but this doesnt happen everytime i drive it. It almost seems as if the weather has something to do with it, but im sure thats just a coincidence. This has been going on for some time. For the past month it has driven perfectly normal but just this morning it acted up again. And then on the way home from work....nothing. Any ideas??? Let me know if im not giving enough info, something you can think of that might help diagnose.

I have an ongoing Problem with my fuel system. I replaced the fuel pump but its still bogging down and cutting off the engine. Kind of tired of spending money on this thing so any knowledge on how to bypass and the location of the ecu for the pump would be great. thanks.

If anyone has any suggestions on the proper why to change out the fuel pump, I would love to hear them. Thank you.

I have a 93 sc300 with 90,000 miles. Just recently it began to run rough, bogging down at random speeds as if it wasn't getting any gas. But this problem is intermittent. It doesn't matter if the engine is hot or cold. Took it in and they said it was the mass air flow sensor. So I got it replaced, 2 days later same problem. Then they said the fuel pump is "losing pressure" . I Called lexus dealerships and was told that the fuel pump either works or doesn't. Im lost. If this problem sounds at all familiar please help. Its my only car and I can't afford to keep replacing parts that aren't correcting the problem. Thanks for any info.
