  1. what if companies offered the HID kits with cut off lines? fit for the road..you know. is that a fine?
  2. yea, the 2jz swap is a very big job. so you might want to go jdm. its cheaper (money-wise.)
  3. are the beams all messy? or is there a retro-fitted specific detailed line of the HID beam? hard to explain but. does it have a clean cut line. blah. somebody help me explain this if you even have the slight clue of what im talking about. and PICS! lets see some pics. shine that badboy onto a wall.
  4. oh yea, i forgot to ask. hows the fit? please answer in complete detail! jk, but if you feel like you have to. it wouldnt hurt. :D
  5. at least remove the cat that does the most restricting. GUT THOSE KITTIES! does anybody know of the gains from going straight pipe? and how much louder will it be? than a (pretty quiet) aftermarket exahust.
  6. saw it online somewhere. GTP site?
  7. they're around $600 and they weigh like...15-20? i forget 27lbs. I THINK! <_<
  8. well getting a 5spd equipped sc300 is just not an option for me. lets not get into that. im just saying, eventually i could save up money for a conversion. you know?
  9. im sure, somewhere, there is a write up of a auto - 5spd conversion. does anybody know where there might be a list of parts needed and stuff like that for a 5spd conversion. because it is just so hard to find an sc300 in my price range, with a 5spd. so any help would be nice.
  10. Stinks when you try to correct someone and end up gettting corrected yourself, I think you meant nitrous not nitris. Call it whatever you want though....juice, spray, the hit, the shot, the bottle, etc.... Calvin, I wrap a whole bunch of duct tape around it.... hmm funny i forgot to laugh <_< anyway, what a/t upgrade did you go with, i mean.
  11. LEx Luthor, all those mods! what did you choose for strengthening that a/t?
  12. going 19's? prepare to hit every pebble in the road if i were to get 19's for a car. it would be for the weekend cruiser. or the "show car" that rarely gets driven.
  13. in other words, 52mm or 60mm>? how much do these products weigh?
  14. from the front it looks super ultra collasally aggressive. but from the side, it looks like it was made specifically for girls.
  15. might as well go all out and get it in CF. :D if you do this in specific 3 pod and CF, i will be interested. even though i dont have an SC. but if the pillar does not vary and the "92-00" are the same then im game.
  16. just replace the whole thing! vertex carbon fiber doors! but on a more serious note, if you need some complicated part to be fixed, you'll need to get in touch with lexus. if you need the interior panels re-leathered, contact a company that specializes in interior leathering. if you need the outside fixed up because of dents or something, you'll need to contact a body shop. hope this answers what you needed. if you really need the whole the replaced, i dont see why not you shouldnt buy the CF doors :D
  17. i know your on a budget but i just want to let everyone know about this cool site. TITANIUM ROTORS!!!!! http://www.zmibrakes.com/home.html ENJOY!
  18. top end only? or all around faster?
  19. SLR compared to the Sc430? are you insane, the comparisons on those cars are insane. but hey if you got the moolag for the SLR, by all means get that bad boy
  20. you might want to try www.nonturbo.com in their engines section. take a look at the titan adjustable cam gears. it says it works for Supra TT, N/A and the IS300. it should be compatible with the SC300. but i still dont really suggest it unless you are going turbo. but thats just me :whistles:
  21. try out silvania silverstars. those are a pretty good price for their quality. but they last up to around a year then you gotta buy new ones. but they're still cheap :P
  22. You lost me. What are you referring to? i was talking about your katz skins re-wrapping. could you give me a brief description on how it all "went down" I have Katzkin Vinyll on my LS, and they suck. Never did them on my SC. You can actually take the existing leather off the seats, and replace them with Katzkin leather. In order to do this, you'll need to take your front seats off the rail, four screws at the bottom. Raise the headrests. Disconnect the power seat and heat cables, and take the seats out of the car. In the bottom of the seat, you'll notice the buttons or a zipper, and another set at the backs of the seat. Unbutton and remove Slowly. You don't want to peel off foam sections. same procedure with the back rest. The headsets have zippers underneath. be careful, since it doesn't want to comeout that easily. Chances are there will be some sticky moments. I don't remember exactly what I used to clean that up, but I wouldn't be surprised if Tilex or any mildew remover would substitute. You should definitely check with Pepboys to see if they have anything. Are you planning to buy some Katzkins in the near future? thanks ucf3, i kinda get it now. i used to think that wrapping your own seats would take stitching and such. and now that i just saw the word "zipper" i feel like an idiot and it makes it seem so much easier. zipper is good!
  23. im not sure, but i doubt there would be any power gains. maybe if you slapped on a turbo. you will start to feel more power coming from performance cam gears. but hey if you have the cash, ALMOST any aftermarket part is a good idea
