dont know about anyone else, but i am getting very tired of people asking about the ge-gte conversion. of course you probably heard from turbo magazine about the conversion. their project SCerious. then you decide to buy the car. ok good for you. do some research before you ask about the swap. you will find so much its not even funny, you wont be able to read it all. err sorry, just letting off some steam. people have to vent once in a while. that that was me venting.

hey guys, i found this car on autotrader.com that is black on grey, it looks to be in great condition. its only going for 7k. 1992, automatic, power everything. its a great car. HA it even has a body kit, rims, and a dvd player? ehh. i am going to call this guy sooner or later to find some information on the car. and i just wanted to see what the grey interiors looked like. thanks in advance.

why is the t&e vertex so expensive, for that price it had better be in CF, is it in CF?

sounds like your problems are just basic wear and tear issues. although not cheap, but can all be replaced with ease. remote lock/unlock problem - get a new security system. new cd, radio, antennea. new trunk lock (might as well replace all the locks on your car while your at it (saves you one less key to keep track of. and plus you dont have all those !Removed! mini scratches on the sides where people missed the keyhole with their heys :P ) dont worry about the paint problem and the wear in your seats and door. you can replace those last. (making your interior and exterior look new takes a bit of money) i dont know about the scraping car part. i think it could be your car being lowered, and when you go into driveways and bumps you will scrape. try to go at driveways and speed bumps at and angle. i know its ricey and embarrasing but do it for the sake of you car. :) i guess thats it. all these things shouldnt cost you over $1,000 (but im just guessing off the top of my head) good luck with your sc400.

its possible that they're from the is300, the wheels are chromed and the lexus emblem in the middle is in gold. ill take a picture of it whenever i can get a dig. camera or get my own camera.

an sc300 near me has really nice 19(or 18, looked more like 19) inch factory chromed Lexus rims. they're 5 spoke and look really nice. my question is..does anything know which car those stockers came from? and Lexual, get some new shoes bud

the gumball 3000 is crazy, i myself would like to compete in it one day. it seems awfully tiring driving through the night and such. it must be a great experience though.

which brands do you guys know of that arent too loud, but can come off as a pretty aggressive car? something along the low-ness of greddy? (ie. power extreme)

which exahust gives a nice power gain, but also doesnt sound TOO loud. just something that rumbles well at idle and has a deep, but not loud throaty sound. do you guys think greddy would be the best? and do all systems out there come in dual for the sc300 or single. or maybe dual on one side?

haha dude, i know how that tune goes. my mom is the craziest ultimate super haggler you will ever meet in your lifetime. it may be embarrassing but my mom gets her refunds, complaints, and haggling done 90% of the time.

sounds like hes getting desperate to sell. which means...time to bring the price down even more. he WILL budge. just haggle alot. find little specs that are wrong with the car. the fact that he is getting new tires and a tune up PLUS lowering it down 1grand means he really needs to sell.

about the first question, no, do them outside AND inside. way better outcome. second question...is a good question. i have not heard or read about a situation where a person wanted to take the fogs out for a cleaning. if you cant do it. then maybe its time for some new foglights :)

the actual enginges are different in price no? which makes jdm engine cheaper than the usdm engine. the reason i say this is because i rarely see usdm 2jzgte's out there. and when i do they're more expensive than the jdm version. (smaller twins anyway, not as much potential as the usdm stock twins have.)
