  1. Ohhhh, he's so cute!
  2. Calories (like a million of them!!)
  3. I was told the other day that the newer models have corrected the problem. I was concerned that I would have problems with my '04 RX330.
  4. Wish I could have one... :cries:
  5. Ooops - didn't see the red box, sorry! But you have your answer. Like DC said, Colgan should be able to custom fit one for you. Hopefully they'll come back with something. :)
  6. Do you know who makes the hitch for Lexus? My favorite is Hidden Hitch. I like the matte finish & the hidden receiver.
  7. http://www.autoanything.com/car-bras/62A1053A0A0.aspx This is for the '07, but you may try emailing this company to see if it will work on your '08. This link is for the carbon fiber, but black is also available.
  8. I think we probably had a 5' x 8'. We only had to bring a small bedroom set from my parents house to ours, about a 4 hour drive. I'd probably stick with he 45 MPH, maybe 50. The tires are really small, and just not meant for highway speeds. Better to be safe. We were in the accessories business & sold hitches, my hubby installed it.... so we paid wholesale prices many years ago. I found hitches for the RX online ranging from $150 - $250, shipping & w/o installation. My guess is if you're paying around $350 or less than you got a good deal. Maybe a bit more if your in California.
  9. Don't know what brand of hitch is being put on, but that's a good question.
  10. Some things just don't need to be discussed!!
  11. A 7 psgr long wheel base will be introduced, but the 5 psgr model will still be offered. Sorry, didn't answer the question B4!
  12. Check this out: http://www.edmunds.com/insideline/do/Featu...rticleId=116536
  13. I was in the accessory biz. for almost 10 years & we bought/sold Covercraft. The business was owned by my in-laws. I changed our catalog & computer from "bra" to "front end cover" used by Covercraft. Completely freaked me out to have my father-in-law ask me about bras....
  14. Coooool! Problem solved! :)
  15. There is no advantage to the Carbon Fiber look, it's just a style prefernce. The Colgan products fit very tightly against the vehicle. I have not used one on my RX, but my hubby had one for his old 94 Mustang & it took him a good effort to get the product on. Very tight fit tolerance. You won't have any "flap" trouble with any Colgan products. They are the best in the industry. Sorry, I can't help with the fit question. You could also try looking at Covercraft's website just for fitment info. See if they have a different part number for the 350 & 330. If there are 2 different numbers, then the 330 won't fit. Good luck!

    New Here

    Welcome! Enjoy your new ride!
  18. No, but I assumed it was whoever drove the vehcile last. But I kinda think there are too many variables for that to be true statement from the dealer. Otherwise if anyone shared the vehicle instead of having a primary driver, there would be an ongoing lag issue. So who knows.
  19. And my post about the Mercedes has turned to real estate.... you guys CRACK me up!!! Soooooo off topic..... (hehehe - just kidding!! love you guys!)
  20. I just got my '04 RX AWD about a month ago. LOVE IT!!! I was nervous about the vehichle when I made the purchase, but did lots of research & found out the problems were minor imo. Yes, there is road noise, but compared to my previous vehicle ('96 Cherokee 4x4) it's tolerable. I was told by the dealer that the acceleration lag is because the vehicle adjusts to the driver. Don't know that is true or not, but I experience a bit of lag once in a while. Overall, I'm very happy with the vehicle.
  21. Hello! The tow capacityis 3500 lbs., 350 lb tongue weight (downward weight onto hitch ball & draw bar). Make sure to get a hitch ball (2" is standard, but check wtih U-Haul) and a draw bar (standard is about 8" long) & a locking hitch pin so your draw bar can't be stolen. Also, make sure you have trailer wiring in your vehicle to hook up your turn signals & brake lights to the trailer. You should not need towing mirrors, but if you'd feel more comfortable with them, any auto parts store will have universal types that attach to your mirror with adjustable velcro straps. Maybe a hitch cover too, black rubber will hide the open receiver under your vehicle well. You should not need anything else like a sway bar or weight distribution since the max towing weight is only 3500 lbs. Oh & something to lubricate the end of the draw bar. Just drive with common sence - more stopping distance is needed, backing into someplace is a pain, don't try to pull out into fast moving traffic & don't drive at Mach 1 - the trailer will have little tiny tires. Good luck! :)
  22. Colgan is the best made bra in the accessory industry - it has a very tight fit, has the softest underneath side that goes against the vehicle & is made of the best materials. There are other brands such as Covercraft or Wolf, but if you can find Colgan, it's the best bet. Make sure to take it off if it's raining so your hood doesn't get scratched. It's a good idea for long trips to protect your investment. Colgan doesn't show any years on their website, but you could email them & ask if they have fitted their 2 pc bra (so you can open the hood) on an '08 yet. http://www.colgancustom.com/shop_vparts.php#1 :)
  23. This is a new one to me.... I'll look around & see if I can find any info.
  24. Ahhhh, thanks! That's good news!
  25. No one needs to waste time on her...
