Several guys have suggested some very sweet reasons why they refer to their cars as "she" such as things of beauty, etc. No one has refered to "driving" them yet, but I get your point. What is that noise when I accelerate? It's not a click, not a thump, not a grind.... ooo, I'm having trouble describing it. It sounds like it's coming from the rear of the vehicle, almost like a valve opening & closing. Like a soft "pop" & I think I can evel feel it when it happens - the noise has a tone to it as opposed to a mechanical type sound. The noise is intermittent. I heard it when I test drove the RX back in May & told the dealer about it. They said it was fixed (it was taken to the local Lexus dealership). Any thoughts? Thanks!

Not a problem! This forum is a nice place to be when I have car questions. The least I can do is help with non-car questions when they come up.! :D I had a hard time with the air conditioner (ok - still have to think about the buttons). I usually manage to turn on the flashers instead of adjusting the speed of the air. My old vehicle was a '96 Cherokee - no power locks or windows, no moonroof buttons, manual seat... the 4x4 lever & the 4 doors were the high points! Hehe!

Hmmmmm, I went onto both Yakima's & Thule's websites & searched products by vehicle. Both of the carriers you picked out are showing that they will work on your GX. But neither website tell you the degree of the tilt, so I can see why you're questioning the swing open door. You might want to email them to verify. I worked with Thule products for years & I'd call to be 100%. Maybe someone with one of the carriers with the GX will respond in the meantime to say thumbs up or down. Good luck!

Thanks Rya, it done worked. Oh yeah, one more question on my personal profile, how do I add a second vehicle that I may own? Thanks You would do that the same way, but on the vehicle line, add a comma after the first vehcle. AFter the comma, enter the second vehicle. Any time! :D
