Hi, Recently my 1990 ls400 driver door lock stopped working. The only way to unlock the door is to insert the key into the key hole and turn it. So basically, pushing the button on the key unlocks all the other doors except the driver one. Furthermore pushing the button on the inside of the car near the master window switch has the same effect. I was wondering if anyone knows which part i need to replace to fix this problem? thank you, Albert

Hi, Im thinking about towing my light sail boat (400 lbs + weight of the trailer) from Atlanta to Michigan this summer. Ill looked through all the posts about towing and people mentioned that the transmission might overheat or the engine for that matter. However, if im just cruising on the highway is the transmission going to be doing that much work. Are there any other issues created by towing a trailer with an LS for such a long distance? Hi, I just drove my 1990 ls 400 220,000 miles to the mountains of colorado about a week ago (where it is very cold in the mornings around 20 F). When I go to start my car for the last week or so it makes this really weird grinding noise almost like something is stuck. Also it does not start as fast when cold which may be normal; I have never lived in such a cold environment so i do not know. However, once it is warm it starts like a charm. Any thoughts on what the problem if any is? thanks, albert
