  2. Sorry Craig didnt see the post, no interesting story that I remeber of, I think I was just starting the car in the morning come to think of it ...I broke my axle bolts on my porsche from accelrating too hard, does that count as an interesting story, had it on cruise at 145MPH :whistles: Sorry Bro, just cranked the car in the morning and it sounded like the starter went out.
  3. Has your car ever been in a wreck? Are you 110% sure, I've seen BRAND NEW CARS sold with previous damage.
  4. My timing belt broke on a 91 LS400, it damaged nothing. The mechanic did however tell me the "newer" models (he was thinking in the 1995 range) and above did damage valves when they broke.
  5. I had ~279K miles on my 91 LS400 before I gave it to a family member 1 year ago, it may be over 300K by now. Only thing ever done to the car was timing belts and freon leaks. Here's a pic of it at ~275K.
  6. Sorry I hit a sore spot skperformance.
  7. Do a google search for "miserable failure" Notice the first result :P
  8. Here's a pic of my old car with 18" Kumho, they lasted long drove smoothly and were well worth the price.
  9. You can use this Application to figure out the difference in height. http://dirtcheaprims.com/App/index.html 205/65 = 26.49 inches in diameter 225/55 = 25.75 inches in diameter I would use a 225/60 which is 26.63 inches but either one should work well. Hope the calculation guide help.
