  1. I tried to get some shots to show the finish, I don't know how well these show it or not. I'm not a very good photographer.
  2. 50!? Man that's old. Happy Birthday JENunnez!!!
  3. dc............U da man! B)
  4. Wow, NOW that sounds like a great house! B) And I completely agree and concur with the $5K bounderies! I've found alot of Carpet stores will make rugs for you, custom size you want, for alot less money. Usually what ever it sells for per square yard, plus edging. then all you'll need is that grippy stuff you buy in sheets so the rugs don't slide around. I wish you the best. It's kind of funny talking about you moving, your still in the same spot in my den unless I move the desk!
  5. Yeah, yeah, yeah, those are nice pics , but wheres the heater? LOL!!! That looks like a loooooong driveway! You better invest in a snow blower! And you might wanna buy some more rugs to cover more of those hard wood floors. How big is the hot water tank? I see the chimney,,wheres the fire place? Dang man, you skipped over all the important stuff!
  6. I saw 1.75 at a Shell today!
  7. Well NC, I'm from Wisconsin, but I lived in Chicago for awhile as a youngster. (My dad had some business that took us there for a year, maybe 2.) It's a city, what else can you say? It's busy 24/7, lots to do everywhere. Just be sure you move to the community that Obama was the organizer for. ;) If your worried about your cars, I would get some undercoating and spray the underside of your cars down real good with it. That should help with the rust issues. Up north, undercoating is a "new car feature" LOL!! And just wait til you visit the Sears Tower. the elevators are amazing!
  8. Either the brake dust TSB, or the brake squeal TSB. Brake TSBS and related
  9. Your control panel clears itself if the topic hasn't had any new posts for 5 days.
  10. Happy Birthday!
  11. I don't know how I didn't see this earlier. Happy Birthday!! = :D
  12. Ok, I'm going to order these and give them a try. You guys better be right! (LOL!) Ok, well, I ordered the DWG and DPS. I don't know what went wrong with the order, but it took two and a half weeks to get here. Anyway, I just washed the car first and used Griot's paint prep to clean off all the wax and previous PS. I used a Griot's orange pad and started with #3 polish, and went over it twice. Then went to a #4 final polish. Then using Griot's red pad, speed setting 4, 1 coat of DWG, then hand remove with MF, then 1 coat of DPS, hand remove with MF, then 1 coat of DWG, and hand remove with MF. Then using an Adam's finishing MF towel, 2 full hand buffs all over the car. I like the DWG stuff. Easy to work with, and really does look great. It smell like Grape bubble gum. It must be a theme, as the DPS smelled like Wrigleys spearmint gum. I took some pics, but I haven't uploaded them yet. I will later if you guys wanna see.
  13. They had an analog version video interface kit on it. Navtool makes one. In order to make it work, you have to install a toggle switch between Nav and DVD. The new digital versions don't need that switch anymore, like Viatech's SLV-2 version which is an Ipod interface that also feeds video from the ipod. It's really no big deal. The wires that the switch were installed on just need to be replaced with out the switch. As for the warrentee, it can't void anything, unless they can prove the switch was the cause of the problem. Otherwise, your warrentee is in full effect.

  15. Alright dc, that's quite enouph! From now on, you have to post a pic of the gas station signs. LOL!!
  16. It depends on where you get em from and who you know. For turbo applications, I would go with Ferrea Super alloy valves. (No titanium for turbo!) Stock size is 99.1 mm length, 29 mm head, 5.98 stem diameter, 3.5 tip length. I think the part number you want is F1499P if I remember right. Don't quote me on the part number though. Intake valves should cost (retail) around $250.00 and exhaust should be about the same. Then I strongly reccomend dual spring valve springs, but those are gonna set you back around $400. And the retainers are gonna be around $300. If you decide to go with this set up, make sure you get the seat locators for the springs. But this set up will hold very nicely for you. You can definately run full boost applications and not have any worries.
  17. The rims are different widths. While they are all 18's, the front is 8 inches wide, and the rears are 8.5 inches wide.

  19. That's pretty cool!
  20. I think the labor unions served a purpose at one time, but today, they have outgrown thier place and have way overstepped that purpose. Florida is a right to work state, and somehow we seem to manage. I'm not blaming this on the labor unions alone, but I do think that GM, Ford, and Chrysler need to layoff employees from the top down, and not from the bottom up, which is what they will do anyway. Ford CEO made 11 million dollars in salary last year alone. I bet they can find a billion dollars by just trimming the executive staff back, and selling off some of the corperate jets, and misc. toys.
  21. I saw $1.92 at a Chevron station today. Premium is $2.17. But still falling.
  22. In the last 2 pics, you show a nice city, and paved roads, in the 3 pics before it, you show a gutted dirt road and flooding conditions. So, what's up with that? Do you live out in the sticks and have to drive down a goat path to get to the city? And what is the pic of the police cars? What were you doing at the police station?
  23. I am completely against this. I know it's going to hurt alot. I know I will be effected, but Ford, GM and Chrysler have been in this boat for years! They have been doing the exact same thing for 25 years! This is only a "take advantage of the moment" ploy by them. GM has lost over 18 billion dollars just this year alone! How is 25 billion going to help even 1, let alone all three? 6 months from now, we'll be 25 billion dollars lighter and right back where we are right now. Cerberus bought Chrysler just last year! They were worht 24 billion in holdings at the time, Chrysler alone is about to drag them under! The labor unions have a huge hold on the auto makers in Detriot and refuse to let go. They have outdated designs, and it would take model years to get back on track. Both Ford and GM made alot of very bad desicions. This isn't the worlds fault or the economy.
