hey jonda, it's funny you should ask that. I just finished helping someone else with that very question, and the answer is yes. You can. there are a couple of ways to go about it. One is to use a a second monitor. I wouldn't use the one that IS 300 has now because it's not touch screen compatable. The Pioneer unit would go down where the radio is. Then the remote monitor would go where the flip up nav is. ( By the way, this is a really cool set up) The Pioneer has a/v outputs on it. So when you flip up the nav screen you can turn it on and use that for nav and use the video screen on the unit to watch a DVD on at the same time. Dude, this is soooo awsome. I have the flip up storage compartment on my dash. I am right now looking for a monitor that will fit in there and get that hooked up. Unfortunatley all my cah flow is being directed to getting my turbo right now, so I was going to wait and do it later. But the answer is a definate yes.

the shower pics of the girl,,very nice. As she gets out of the shower you sneak up and while the camera is rolling you reach out and pull the towel away and snap some nice pics,,,oh wait, wrong relationship. Very nice job. Your car is lookin B.A.D. bro. Now when you take it out and your stopped at a light you'll notice people lookin at the calipers. They can't help it. I don't know why they set the car off so well, but they just look sooooo sweet. So have you driven the car around? How is the ride? How much did you lower the car? Now remember, as the springs "break in" the car will settle more, so if they didn't lower the car as much as you would have hoped, in a few days the car will. So be a little patient. Also, I would take it in in about a 1-2 weeks and have them do a four whell alignment just to make sure the camber is corrected and so fourth. Great job, man, seriously. Very nice.

Yo Denny, I read this post the other day, and frankly I had to wait ahile before posting, because and let me state that this is just my point of view, right or wrong, it's just how I see it. Dude, you've been shang-hai'd!!!!!! By your own family!!!!!!!!!!! That is soooooooooooooooooooo wrong. I would be on the next plane back just on principal alone!!!! Never mind the family thing, and they need you and all that, there is no way in God's green earth then. They should have included you, talked to you and let you make your own choice. Even if they knew it would be a no, and that's why they did it. If it's your dad's mom or your mom's mom, it's their responsibility to care for her, not yours WITHOUT ASKING YOU!!!!!! From no other perspective can I see what they did as right, or even ok. That would be like you going and selling the rental properties and putting the cash in your account. When you parents found out and charged you, I would tell them" Oh, I thought we made large decissions like this without needing to talk about them."

Yo, you've been working that idea for awhile. Maybe we should all get together and pitch in and maybe we could get "the Hoff" to be your co-pilot for a day instead. LOL!!!!!! Let's see, favorite upgrade,,,,,,,,oh yeah, Duuuuhhh, TURBO!!!!!!

http://www.pioneerelectronics.com/pna/v3/p...9264980,00.html This is the ultimate unit. It has full touch screen, DVD, Full Sat. Navigation, with voice over directions, Ipod direct interface,( which means you don't need a DVD player or a CD player anymore. I download movies to my ipod and watch them on this, Sirrius, XFM, Bluetooth ready, Rear View camera( rear camera extra), and 2 aux video inputs. Full touch screen EQ, color choices, (I actually have all the lights aorund the controls the same color as the dash lights for the totally stock look and feel.) and display choices. this is the baddest head unit out there today. You can watch movies off your 30 gig ipod while in drive no problem. And if you have a route programmed in, it pauses whatever you listening to or watching and gives you turn by turn voice instructions as well as the map functions. there are other cool features also, but you get the main stuff. Yes, it's a little more than 7 bills. But you will not regret it one bit, I promise. I know I don't at all. I have pics of this unit in my car on my thread. If you can't afford it now, save and wait. Your soooo close.

Now that's the kinda committment I like to see. A person with conviction, and a plan.

So long as you leave the amp your fine. the speakers are a low ohm impedance, and most aftermarket amps are set up for 4 ohm loads. So, if you decide to change the amp, you have to change the speakers, or if you want to change the speakers then you usually need to change the amp as well. What head unit are you going with?
-
Looks good man. So, are you going to leave it stock? Or do you have any ideas? Why do you have to save up some money ?

there is no "order" for reconnecting the battery. I just referred to my technicians service manual. I'll read it more closely tomarrow, but try this, "resetting the fuel pump" turn the ignition off. Disconnect the battery for about 15 minutes. Then reconnect the battery. turn the key to the "on" position, but don't start it. Leave it there for about 5 seconds, then turn the key to the off position. Give it a few seconds and then start the car and see if it still has the same issue. If it does, the VVTi may need to be reset.

If your going to use a wax instead of a paint sealer, I would just use #3 polish first. If after that you still want more than you can move to a #2 polish which is a little heavier. Then Go ahead and put on a good coat of wax, maybe two. The only way to get sctratches out other than repainting the area is to remove the ridges the sctratches create by "thinning" the layer of paint around it. And that is frankly a bad idea. So there are some scratches that you should just learn to live with. And as for a suggestion on wax, I happen to really like Zaino and P35 Satin Creme now. After what I learned about Maguire's, I will never use that stuff again.

what happened before the battery went out? You may have a bad alternator.

Let's see: 1) 1969 Camaro - first year POS. then 5 months in the garage and reborn hotrod 2) 1978 Olds Cutlass - 6 month project became 10 sec. 1/4 mile hobby car (all I have is a video of a run for this car) 3) 1978 Monza Spyder - 305 V8 - engine swapped to 350 w/ Dana 44 rear end etc.etc. 4) 1986 Buick Grand National w turbocharged 3.8L V6- air to air intercooler swapped out and stage 4 turbo @ 18PSI. etc.etc. 5) 1988 Toyota Celica GT ( No pics, sorry) 6) 1994 RX7 Ifini type R2. ( My first brand new car.) I also owned a 1996 Mazda B2300, 1988 Honda Accord, 1994 Honda Accord, and a 2003 Ford Explorer. I have also owned many motorcycles along the way. But this thread only asked for cars. I have had a few other cars as well, but I'm not sure of the parameters that qualify ownership for this also.
