  1. Tango: MB engineers ain't have enough talent to copy old IS, they usually copy KIA's.LOL. Do you know that old IS was distributed in Europe under Toyota Altezza? Try to read more posts of problems that IS owners encoutered and think if they could ever exist in a luxury German car. I also want you & others to read about how Lexus started in the mid 80s.
  2. so what probably happened is that it is not a problem, just a design flaw. Sounds like a design flaw; Why dont they do the right thing and recall these cars. I dont think this car is going to be around that long as soon a new AWD CTS comes out this one is going. ====================================================================================== Lexus does not want to make recalls(and it seems intentionally); the dealership only replaced my IS250AWD seatbelt when I went for my 5k checkup. Lexus acknowleges brakepads problem but they don't recall and you can only get them replaced after long bargain. Rattling, oil leak, etc... They are not brave and ethical to admit their design flaws even as Honda does. A couple of years ago Honda recalled Odyssey just because a temp sensor protection was not strong enough. I wonder how could they compete with BMW and behave like that.
  3. You are the same guys who think Harley davidson is a great motorcycle while it's just crap. I made a mistake by buying Lexus. I drove German luxury cars and they're unparrelled authentic original designs; Japanese copy designs from other Europian designs. May be Japanese are good at making stock cars but they're away behind Europians.
  4. A four door sport car!!!!!!!!!!!!! LOL
  5. You see the IS woodtrim is not large enough to be visible so I really don't care about...However, don't get me wrong I have it in my IS250. I was chatting with salesperon at the dealership about this woodtrim and he said Lexus keeps it small because they don't want to have rattling problems; my reply to him was, if they don't know how to do it they should not be in the luxury vehichle biz and he just could not say a word. I have to tell you that Lexus does not belong to the real luxury cars.
