  1. that doesn't sound like to me same problem that i had. when mine went out, the signals would light up, but just not flash.
  2. maybe someone else has had this problem & has found what it was? i live in minnesota & during the winter (or when the temperature happens to be below about 30 degrees), after starting the car, there will not be any sound from the radio/cd/tape, but the navi voice can be heard. it seems that this only happens when i start the car for the first time in the morning & then after that, if the car is still warm (hasn't been sitting in the parking lot at work or wherever), there is no problem. if the car has sat for long enough, and its cold enough, this happens several times a day. i've also found that if i turn the ignition off and then restart it sometimes the sound will come back on. i haven't had this happen during the spring/summer/fall at any time, so that is why i am thinking it is a temperature issue.
  3. i've had a similar problem with an older vehicle & it turned out that there was a signal relay that went bad. i don't know if your sc has one, but it sound familiar. do the signals come on, but not flash?
  4. a possibility is to have aftermarket cooled seat kits installed. here is a link to a website that shows them. http://www.aggroupworldwide.com/comfort/agcomfort.html
  5. if you find a vehicle you like that doesn't have the heated seats, there a couple of aftermarket solutions. one website that i found looks to be decent (no experience with them, my ls430 has both the heated and cooled seats - a really nice option). their website is www.heatedseatkits.com
  6. if the car is new to you, it could be that someone else has entered a maintenance reminder (tire rotation, oil change, wipers, etc..) under the menu section of your display.
  7. LOL At least you were able to do this in a garage. The first time I changed mine was the day after I purchased it (used), and was driving back to Minnesota from Georgia around Christmas time. The wipers worked just fine for the rain that was in the South, but were worthless as the rain turned to snow. You can imagine how long it took to find that little tab in the parking lot of an autoparts store, with snow and ice covering the wipers. It reallly makes you wonder why they don't make the tab an obvious color (dayglow orange would be helpfull).
  8. Anyone have a 01-06 LS430 with custom wheels? It near impossible to find a decent priced rim that will work with the large brake calipers. Any suggestions appreciated!
