Curt, I did the following 2 combinations: a1. Install jumper wire to TE1 and E1 terminals a2. Turn key on b1. Install jumper wire to TE1 and E1 terminals b2. Turn key on and start engine No matter what I do, the check engine light stayed lit and NOT flashing. -B

Thanks for your prompt reply. I tried the recomended reprocedure but do not see the check engine light flashing (jump TE1 and E1 terminals). I did make sure that the jump wire is all the way in but no effect. -B

The check engine light of my '95 LS400 just turns on. I need help to diagnose this problem. What should I check ? Thanks, -B :o
