  1. Congratz on the new Lexus dude! They are awesome cars for the money, you will have fun with it man!
  2. It may be little minor changes here and there, but i really doubt any big design changes. Little changes can make a big diffrence in the looks of a car though.
  3. Yeah i bring my IS350 to Toyota(because its closer), and so does my sister with her IS300. Toyota dealers are good with Lexus.
  4. 32k sounds like a reasonable offer, you could probaly find a 250 with more options for the same price but if you want the power then its a pretty good deal.
  5. Are those rims 18"s or 19"s? They are awesome, much better then the ones have on my IS350(PIC IN SIG). Do you think i could go to the dealer and order those?
  6. I got mine done in Pleasanton, the place where i got mine done is not there anymore. Look for a place that works on higher end cars, that way the quality of work SHOULD be better.
  7. Looks like those prices are pretty average for Lexus from what i know.
  8. I have raced my friends Integra, and i smoked him! Then i raced my buds 06 350z and got tore up but i think i probaly could of hung with him but my shifting was a bit off. My brother just bought a Porcshe Cayman S and he wants to race but im afraid of just being blown out lol, i dont want my car to look slow.
  9. WOW that is one tough decision you have to make man! Ive seen a few of the new G35's on the road and they are nice cars. I went with Lexus over the competition because im just a pure Lexus lover. IS's are definetly sweet cars though man, either way you go i think you will be happy.
  10. Thats sounds like one badass IS you ordered! Patience payes, i got a color that i didnt really want because i couldnt wait to get my IS. Cant wait to see pics when you finally get it!
  11. Wow ive never heard of an IS having that many problems. I bought mine new in 06 and i havent had a single problem yet.I would expect that many problems out of a 1995 BMW, but not a new Lexus. Maybe this will be its last problem, just think possitive! About the windshield cracking, ive never heard mine crack. My brakes sqeal a little bit, i can hear it a little with the windows open and thats it.
  12. Yeah whatever you do, dont go to Best Buy for install. I went there for my old car and got a nice system put in and i had to bring it back 3 times for them to fix it. They do crappy, half !Removed! work.
  13. Dude mine suffers from brake dust really bad, its sooo annoying! I cant stand having a dirty car so i wash mine every saturday but by saturday the front rims are covered.
  14. The back seat in the IS is not that big to be honest with you, maybe for really little kids it will work but its pretty small. I recommend that you go test drive one to get a good feel for the car. I test drove a IS250 and liked it, i then drove a 350 and had to have that extra bit of power. It really depends what your looking for in the car, if ur looking for a just a family car, 250 will work. 250's are totally fun to drive and handle great! If ur an aggresive hard driver, 350 will be more fun, and you can smoke accords and camrys off the line!
  15. Awesome looking car man! I almost got that color on my 350 but i went with silver! BTW i live right up the rode in Pleasanton!
  16. Whats the best place on the internet to look for aftermarket parts for my IS350? Im not planning on doing much to my IS350 but i would like to see what they have out for it right now. I was on the freeway yesterday and and a black IS350 passed me in the fast lane, it had blacked out tailights and it looked to be lowered. It looked great and sounded great! I followed him for about 15 miles and the black tailights really grew on me, i dont know how good they would look on my Tungsten pearl(silver) IS? Anyway any help would be appreciated!
  17. Ok im looking at my paper work it was 40k otd, with a premium package.
  18. Yupp i built mine on the lexus website first, so i pretty much knew what i wanted. I printed the pages out and went to the dealer and told them what i was looking for. i got lucky that they just took me to the exact car that i was looking for, the color was what i wanted and the features were what i wanted. BTW im only 23 and i have a IS350, and my friend is 22 and he has a IS250, i think the general age of IS owners are way lower then the other Lexus models.
  19. I dont really have an answer to that because i havent really looked into it, i never even thought of that. But i like to let my car warm up a bit in the morning aswell, usually for about 2 maybe 3 mins. I just sit in my car while it warms up and mess around with the nav..But thats a good question, id like to know the answer aswell.
  20. I got mine at Lexus of Pleasanton, they cut me a pretty good deal, i traded my IS300 for a IS350..They are pretty cool over there in Pleasanton, they have a decent selection and are easy to work with. I think OTD it was around 39k, i talked em down a few grand.
  21. I was thinking about lowering mine a bit, but in my neiborhood we have huge speed bumps so that wont work...But yeah 2 inches will totally stiffen the ride.
  22. Dang dude, i would probaly just trade it for one with Nav.I almost didnt get Nav but my friend talked me into, and it was totally worth it!
