  1. I had the same problem. Turned out the wires that go to the trailer wiring plug were frayed. I spliced them back together and taped them up with electrical tape. Been a little more then a week and no lights on the dash. BTW - None of my rear bulbs were out either.
  2. If the entire arm in your question refers to the black metal piece that attaches the the car itself then the answer is no. I got replacement blades for about 5 dollars each and they work fine. http://www.fordrides.com/showthread.php?t=473
  3. Hi everyone, I just noticed that on my 99 RX300 that the wires to the receiver for the trailer hitch are frayed. Do you think that these frayed wires would cause the indicator on the dash that tells me I have a bulb out to illuminate. I will fix the wires this weekend when I have time to do so, but was just curious as to whether the dash indicator light could 'see' the frayed wires. Where does the wires for the trailer hitch get their power from? Are they on an independent circuit or are they drawing bower from the other brake lights. Thanks in advance for the answers.
  4. Is there a way to program the car so that the doors automatically lock when you either start the engine or start driving over a certain speed?
  5. And to think I came from a car with a V8 that got better gas mileage.
  6. :whistles: I just got a 99 RX300 and am getting very poor gas mileage. I get about 15 during city driving. Anyway, my question is where does the engine take in air. I opened the air box that houses the filter and it appears that the box doesn't have any holes to the outside. Where does this car get all it's air from?
