Hello all, I have 92 Ls 400 with 232,000 kms on it. It's a perfect car but recently I got the error code 71 which is the EGR.I cleaned the Egr modulator filter but still I'm having the same code. I'm wondering, the egr gas temp. sensor is working fine or not. so if someone could PLEASE HELP ME OUT TO FIND THE LOCATION OF THE EGR GAS TEMP. SENSOR IN 92 LS 400. I"ll highly thankful for all of you and it's a great fourm.I love it. Thanks prab :(

Hello all, I'm having the error code 71.I checked the EGR valve by connecting the vacuum hose on top of EGR valve.Engine does hesitation which means my EGR valve is working fine.? Please help me to solve this problem. Also where is EGR gas Temp sensor is located in 1992 LS400? :cries:

I couldn't solve it yet. I been to a pro , he suggested me to change the EGR Valve which costs abt CAD$400 for the brand new one.

Hi, Mine 92 ls 400 has engine check and track off light on.Both lights come on together,I pulled error code 71.does any one has solved this problem..?please help me out!
