How bad is your dash? I would probably get a new one, but if you don't want to spend all that money on it then yeah, get the cover. I think a cover would look a lot better then a cracked dash. Is it at all possible to just get the crack repaired?

I don't know! Chances are that I probably won't. I just want the assurance from American Stitches that they aren't hanging me out to dry if I do decide to ship it back to them. The ES is driven about 500 miles a month, so it's not that big of a deal right now, and it will probably be sold before too long. I just wanted to warn you guys of AS.... ← That is a shame what happened. I hope that AS tells you that they will fix it. That would be the right thing to do. It would be a shame to pay all that money and then they tell you that they won't fix it. Let us know what they say.

Wow snow in Texas. We got a little snow here in PA before Christmas and a little yesterday, but it is all melted. Everytime it snowed here it melted right away.

For the ES 92 and 93 was the only years that Lexus made the manual transmission. I would assume that you could change from a automatic to a manual. I'm not to sure with that, but i am sure that someone will probably chime in and let you know.

Hi! Vicki_in_Florida At first, you have too many NEGATIVE remarks about LEXUS. Why are you still buying them??? Did you test drive the car or play with the Navigation before you bought it??? Rock will damage any "hood" paint (doesn't matter if it is a LEXUS, HONDA, NISSAN OR A FORD...) If it hits hard enough, it will chip the paint. I feel your pain....but you don't have to live with it. You stated that "you are regretting buying this car" right??? - Well, then why don't you sell it....??? ← You don't have to be so hard on her she is just upset and venting a little. I know i would be upset if i had the problems that she is having. ;) Vicki, I know that you have to be upset with everything that you been going threw, but i agree with Steve that you were just in the wrong place at the wrong time. Yeah, i guess your right no matter what you do there could always be a lawsuit waiting to happen. I just never thought of it happening to a real-estate agent or especially a travel agent for such petty things.
