After a $100+ dealer oil change I picked up a new oil filter. The directions say that a special wrench is needed. Can a regular strap type be use?

I WANT TO REPLACE THE AIR FILTER ON A 2007, LS460. HOW DO YOU REMOVE THE COVER OVER THE AIR FILTER? I SEE NO CLIPS OR BOLTS AND IAM AFRIAD TO PRY UP TOO HARD. MUST THE COVERS ON EACH SIDE OF THE LARGE CENTER ONE BE REMOVED FIRST?

Scufing On Center Door Post.

It's not the door it's the interior leather on the centerpost. -
:cries: The drivers door center post on my 460 is all chewed up from sliding in and out of the seat. Anyone else have this problem? Is there any fix beside duct tape like a after market shield or plate.

I have Sprint with their Katana phone works great. Easy to download phone-book. -
Is anyone out there using a radar detector through the windshield on a LS460? Where are you locating it? Any problems? Do any of the major manufacturs make an oil filter or air filter for a LS460. I have looked on their web sites and havent been able to find any. Anyone know the Lexus part numbers? It seems Lexus only sells a kit for the O/F that includes a drain plug gasket. Thanks in advance..........J
