I just recently purchased a Lexus RX300 2001 with 74,800 miles on it. I figured I got a good deal on it because it was loaded with Nav system, heated seat and very well maintained. However, after purchasing the car and driving it home I noticed about 30 minutes later a slight ticking noise that was low but very detectable. I sounded like the CD cartridge was shuffling in the changer so I removed it but still heard a noise that started and stop with no apparent reason. I drove it to work the next day 31 miles and didn't hear it at all and I had put the CD cartridge back in there with a couple of CDs so I figured that was the case. However when driving back home and pretty much near the same spot I started hearing the noise (Clicking like a clock) around the console area and more closer to the glove compartment. Has anyone else experienced this or have any idea what this could be?
