  1. So far, I haven't been bothered with the deceleration. My throttle seems fine. I feel that the slow deceleration is related more to the transmission shift pattern and how it's programmed/matched to the power curve of the engine. Fuel economy could possibly be a factor into how it's set up also. It doesn't decelerate hard when I let off the throttle but I atribute this to the 8 speed tranny using fairly high gear ratios a lot of the time and not down shifting quickly. Let us know what your dealer has to say. I have wondered about the "creep" when stopped. Seems to take more brake pressure than it should to keep the car sitting still. Not sure if the "electric" brakes are a factor or if it's just the idle rpm is too high. Again, let us know what your dealer finds.
  2. The Teleios rims are a different design from the stock rims and are a dealer option, at least in my area.
  3. Mine are what they called "black chrome". They may offer standard bright chrome also.
  4. Everyone has different needs and expectations. I decided to do some testing yesterday. I found some smooth, new roadway, turned off the A/C, and turned off the stereo. 0 to 85 mph. (Haven't tried taping the mirror hole yet.) Yes, the wind noise increased as the car went faster.... (Darn physics!) At the same time, what noise I heard did not bother me at all. Could it be quieter? I suppose so. Is it high on my "needs list"? No. For others, it might be. Test drive it at all speeds before you buy. To me, the car is so quiet, it doesn't take much sound to stand out. In this case, any amount of wind noise is noticeable. For me, especially with the A/C blowing and the stereo on, it's a non factor.
  5. Unless the wind noise varies between cars, and I got a quiet one, my hearing and/or sound requirements are definitely sub-par. Hard to figure what could be different between cars. Assuming the mirrors are the problem, I wonder if there is a chance that the retracting mirrors are not extending back out the exact same distance/angle on each car.....
  6. Other than the "rear windows down boom" (yes, I know most cars do it).... I find my car very quiet at all speeds.... Including "way" fast speeds...... I was surprised to see the posts about wind noise. Maybe my hearing is bad. If something is quieter that offers all the performance, comfort, and features that the 460 does, and at the same price, go for it. Just did a 1,200 mile loop on my 460 this weekend through the mountains and desert. 25.6 mpg. Still loving it.
  7. On a different note... Have you tried driving with the front windows up and the rears down? You won't do it for long.
  8. Same thing happened on my wheel "deal"...... $2,500.
  9. I bought them in December as an option on my 460. "Black chrome" finish. Look great, but not too "flashy".
