It all depends. I had my upgraded to 6in by the Lexus dealership when I first purchased my SC in '92. Best thing to do is just call your Lexus dealership and give them your vin #. They should have it on file.

90% of SC owners I've met has the same problem. One, trunk struts runs out of gas. Two, cracks on the interior vents. Three, AC display LCD lights goes out. Well, I love my SC so I'll put up with the minor stuff.

You guys owe me big, I searched and searched here it is diy. Though, I think you can buy a pair of aftermarket at autozone or pep boys for $30 a pair. Tthere should of been a recall for this and the cracked dash board near the center vent area.

Actually it does work. However, your dent better be round, about the size of your closed fist and no bigger than a grapefruit. I wouldn't try it if your dent is small.
