  1. I have recently had the sound from my radio in my 2000 rx300 cut out and only play bass. When I move the passenger seat forward, or adjust the tilt of the seat then the treble and midrange play. I assume that I have a loose wire that moves when the seat is adjusted. Does anyone know the procedure on how to remove the plastic housing around the bottom of the seat so that I can access below the seat to check the wire connections?
  2. According to the Lexus dealership I took it to, the original warranty is no longer valid. Besides I just turned 53,000 miles the other day. I think I am out of the original warranty period.
  3. I bought the 2000 rx300 used and the warranty that came with the vehicle does not cover the stereo.
  4. I recently have started to have a problem with the stereo in my 2000 rx300 where only bass comes out of the speakers. It seems to happen after it rains and I shut the car off. When I get back into the car and start it up there is only bass (worked perfectly fine before and while driving in the rain) Does anyone have any ideas? I am thinking a loose connection somewhere, but am not sure where to start to look. How do I access the amp or the radio connections to check them. The problem goes away after a while with the mid and treble seeming to turn back on.
