LS-400 Owners: Is it true that you cannot disable the auto tilt away steering on a 95 LS-400, I called several Lexus dealer around my house and they all told me the same thing. This feature was available on 98 LS-400 or newer. My question is there any way to disable this feature? The reason I'm asking is because there are times that when I insert the key into the ingnition, the steer tilt will move a little, does not reach the preset position so I would have to reinsert the key again (sometimes it takes few tries) and it will go to the preset position. How expensive is this to fix if the auto tilt does not function? Please advice! Thanks! Phillip

Hello all: I have a 95 LS400 with 70K miles and currently living in WI. It is very cold here the last 3 days. (sub 0 temp) I parked my car outside and only drives once a week. My car started up this morning but my turn signal and hazard light does not work. (all my other instructment works and no warning light) and also my belt squeaks too. (until engine warms up) it drives fine! Any idea out there what I need to do to fix the light problem. I haven't check the fuse yet but it would be weired that both fuses are out at the same time. It works last weekend when I drove it. What about my belts? Please help! Thanks! Phillip

NC211 or LOC members I read the post from NC211 about a bad computer on 95-97 LS 400. I just bought a 95 LS-400 few weeks ago, How do I know if I have a bad computer or not? (Where could I check it?) Thanks!

To all: I just purchased 95 LS-400 yesterday & happy with it but needs advice & recommendation. 1. This is a 2 owner car (I'm the 3rd owner), I have the maintenance record for 1st owner but was not able to retrieved the 2nd owner's record. Could I go to any lexus dealer with VIN number to have them pull up the record? 2. What kind of maintenance do I need as of right now? (or future) The cars has 66000 miles on it with no warning lights and drives very nice (very happy to get this car but wish to have a 2001 LS-430, but my budget would not allow me to get it) 3. What are the required items or service for this vehicle? Thanks! Phillip
