i had all sorts of insignificant quirky intermit electrical problems ,the dealer just replaced my junction box and that solved all of em.

anyone here change out the stock speakers from a 99lx 470? i installed a pioneer avic z1 and the speakers aint cuttin it any longer.i wanna replace wuts there ,not really interested in cutting up the truck or takin up floor space inthe back with a box. i thought it came with good speakers already cause it had the nakamichi radio but they aint even close to keepin up with the radio.

heres how i see it. if u kept it for 5 years and put 12k a year its gonna have 100k or so ,at that point its gotta be worth 8-10 k .so 15-17k over 5 years is 3-3.5k a year or under 300 a month and ur driving one of the best most reliable and expensive trucks out there. enjoy the truck.

yeah didnt realize the caps ,wasnt yellin except at the dealer after i applied cleaner .i got caddy cts-v and it has ottaman leather which requires a special cleaner but i got same results there as well ,so i stick to a damp rag until that lets me down.then ill yell at the rag.

DONT USE THE LEXUS LEATHER CLEANER .I DID THINKING WHAT COULD BE BETTER ?RIGHT? WRONG!!AND WATCHED IN HORROR AS IT GOT WORSE BY DARKENING THE CRACKS.I USE A RAG WITH WARM WATER EVERY 2 WEEKS OR SO AND SEEMS TO BE DOIN FINE BY ME FOR THE LAST 6 MONTHS IM ACTUALLY LOOKING AT OPTIONS TO REPLACING IT ,WHICH I NEVER WOULDVE NEEDED IF I JUST USED PLAIN WATER FROM THE START.GOOD LUCK

I BOUGHT A 99 WITH 54K FOR 21 FROM THE DEALER WITH FULL SERVICE HISTORY 6 MONTHS AGO SO, ID SAY U DID GOOD IF THE MILAGE IS TRUE
