Hi I'm from Greenland and curious to hear what your company put in as replacement for what you are removing? My 2001 LX has some trouble receiving our local fm radio frequency, because the radio can't receive europian freq...

Greetings from Greenland :) I had a similar problem on my 2001 LX with ML sound system. I solved the problem when I replaced the ML amplifier with an upgraded ML amplifier B) ... if you choose to replace the amplifier with same part number, you will risk same problem after some use :o . - good luck :)

Hi everyone. I'm having an highly erratic problem with my ML sound system on my 2001 LX470: The sound started disappering few month ago, and eversince it has been getting worse. What happens now is that after having started the engine, approx 3-4 min later, all the speaker sound disappears and could be gone for minutes...! (power on the headunit remains on). Sometimes if and when the sound finally returns, it could be with a very different volume setting. The problem dosn't to be caused by a loose connection, I've checked all the connectors on the amp. Does anyone have any suggestions on what my problem might be, ...all suggestions will be highly appreciated :) Just for information: I don't have either a NAV or phone set-up installed. Thanks in advance :)

The volume will drop out almost completely (if you turn the volume ALL the way up, you can faintly hear it). Then when it comes back on it scares everyone in the car. I don't have a phone set-up in my car, but I checked with a dealership and they have a 2006 GX470 with the SAME problem. They've replaced the amps & the head unit and still haven't figured anything out. I'm so frustrated. Sometimes it seems like it's triggered by bumps in the road, but other times it pops in & out for NO reason. aaarghh!!!
