  1. I havent been on here for a WHILE... you guys will like this thread!!!... (This is where ive been spending my time) Sorry i forgot about you guys thought id get you some kind of update though) I made alot of changes to my car since you guys last heard from me... you guys are awesome :) http://www.clublexus.com/forums/showthread.php?t=272289
  2. WOW... Now i bet that was a HARD one to let go of... its ok atleast we are talking about cars and not like computers or digital cameras, i know im still not over mine and it has been a year and it was not all that special. It was all thgat i asked for in a car from my dad, BMW, 5spd, rear wheel drive, and i had it for a whole 3 months, after that BMW i had a 97' Stratus, 96' VW Jetta, 97' GMC Safari, and now im up to the Lexus which i am definently not complaining about. previous BMW owner here also, had a 95 325i super clean n nice handling. just so happened to develope a head gasket problem at the worst time last november right before finals and just when i had only bout $5 so i ehhhh hard to say but i sold it.....sweet car blk on blk.. very nice.. thinkin bout gettin a bmw again, found an e46 for 7k. wat u guys think, its forbidding to ask but which would you rather have if u had one choice BIMMER or LEX HAHA... well lets see if i had the choice, not to offend any of the hardcore Lexus fans BMW's are more my type of cars; sporty, stiff, and handle like no other... although i wouldnt mind an IS300, in stick of course... also i prefer RWD in which you have very few options to have RWD in lexus where its still considered a "sports" car. Then again it all depends on the preference of the buyer I'm also planning on buying another BMW no idea on which one yet, Which E46 did you find for $7000, which model?
  3. My dad got it fixed at some place while i was at work earlier today and now its ready for me to pick it up... $200... Cost a shiny penny!!
  4. Very nice job, did you detail it yourself or did you have someone or place detail it for you?
  5. Thanks! Now i just gotta figure out how you pronounce that word, lol
  6. So my car has been having almost the same problem with the starter. It is hesatent to turn on when its cold out in the mornings. Battery is brand new, and all of my lights turn on as bright as they are supposed to. Yesterday i went to school after work which is 45 minutes from my job, went to class and after couple hours i was getting read to leave and it was about 20 degrees out so im running to my car because i couldnt wait to get in and turn it on to enjoy the HIGH heat and heated seats from lexus... get in and turn the key and all my lights turn on and the starter makes a winding noise like a fan or something just slipping bad... i call my dad and tell him and he says yah its probally just frozen so he tells me if i knock on it it should unstick i tried knocking on it a few times with my Mag-Lite and nothing happened, after about 10 minutes i call a tow truck and got it towed to my house so now my poor lexus is sitting outside of my house dead! How much is a starter for a 95 ES300? and how difficult are they to change yourself? Thanks in advance :cries:
  7. I mean either way i was just curious whether it sounded good or not but that is way to high of a price to pay for an exhaust especially on my 1995 ES300. It's a nice idea though :whistles:
  8. I'd say you would be getting alot more replies to your thread if you posted it on HoFo (howardforums.com) and get alot better info.... :whistles:
  9. I'm almost 19, Bought my 1995 ES300 3 months ago and it had about 160,000. First Mod was removing my intake filter then put in some aftermarket fog lights, changed my grill to a custom made mesh grill. About a month ago i baked my headlights and took out the amber next day i baked my tail lights and took out the amber. Last weekend i changed my rear speakers to some higher wattage 6x9's with blue LED's Planning on getting some IS300 wheels, lowering springs, and limo tints soon. Future audio mods are a 7" monitor headunit, one maybe 2 12" subs and some blue LED lighted front door speakers. Possibly a cat-back exhaust could be in the works... My insurance as of now is hurting me like no other, at age of 17 I totalled my BMW, November of 2005 and it was my fault.. so now im paying about $2700 a year til im 21 which will be in 2009... :(
  10. They are expensive, and yeah they probally use the same damn materials to make them so it has to cost the same to make, id have to guess. Do you know anyone who put a Supersprint on a Lexus or even an ES300? How do you think that would sound cause i know they sound awesome on BMW's.
  11. Could it possible be that the line(s) is clogged? or maybe when they replaced it they didnt wire it correctly or forgot something..
  12. Howabout some pix from the top AND the bottom :D
  13. Thats a good question, Lets ask the guys on the forum what our color is called, it is a brownish purple, Thanks for the compliment. You really like the stock amber in the lights rather than it out? So guys what is this color called?
  14. I was looking to buy a supersprint for my bmw when i had it... unless you can get me an incredible hook-up or discount on one there is like noway that i would be able to afford it, LOL ... and arent they made for BMW's? i would have to like retrofit it to my Lexus then huh?
  15. Do you guys think that anyone would be willing to pay me a decent price to have this mod done to their car?... Or is it just something foolish and pointless and would rather just do it themselves if they were bored out of their mind one day? :whistles:
