es300inflorida

I checked the radiator, changed the transmission fluid, Nothing! It seems to be getting worse, I am to the point where I don't want to drive the car unless it is necessary. Will the transmission eventualy die? Anyone?

I own a 96' Es300, automatic tranny with 170k miles, the engine has been serviced and runs strong. However, when I start the car in the morning, it can take as long as 10 minutes before the car will get into drive. The colder the day, the longer it takes before it will drop into drive. Once it has run for a bit, the car runs and shifts fine. Can someone please tell me what is causing this, it seems to be getting worse!
