  1. I have the Cobra R's on another car and I am running 275/40/17 and they work great.
  2. It is better than my Dad's E300. There is no stick to check the transmission fluid at all! Mercedes owners should not do that sort of thing. They just buy new transmissions when the transmission goes!
  3. Thanks for the reply. That is where I am, just hoping someone could change my mind.
  4. I know I do not post much, but I do follow. I have a 1999 LS 400 with about 114,500 miles. I have had it since it had about 25,000 miles. It has been great. I also own a 2004 GMC Yukon with 80,000 miles. I need to sell one. My wife loves the LS, but is concerned that the GMC is safer for our youngest, because we can put her car seat in the middle and use the anchors (the LS does not have them). Also, she feels the GMC is more practical for carrying things and hauling things. Can anybody convince me to sell the GMC instead? Thank you.
  5. Thanks, tried that and could not keep the pulley still would not come off. I do not know if they really torqued it on. I was worried about trying that as it is an interference engine and I was scared of messing up the timing marks. I tried a PEP BOYS Goodyear 200 ft/lb cordless impact- no movement just bad smells coming from the gun So, I got a DeWalt impact and it came right off. Thanks for the replies.
  6. Does anybody know the best place to locate the connector. I broke it changing the timing belt. Is there an equivalent in Toyota? Thanks.
  7. Thanks for the reply. At least I am turning it the right way! I do not have an impact gun and cannot find a way to hold the pulley still so I can crank on the breaker bar. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance.
  8. I did a search and it appears it is a reverse thread. Does anyone know if that is correct? I am trying to change my timing belt and I have having a hard time getting the bolt off. Thanks.
