My computers been down for awhile but i did get the problem fixed. It was a coil wire that needed replacement. Too bad I didn't pay attention in shop class or I could of saved about $200 bucks. Geez what a rip!!

In Mississauga Ontario. 91 Toyota soarer v8 with the digital display. The icon for the Catalytic Converter is a box with wavy lines over it. Is this a serious problem...well it seems serious since my car can't drive properly. Please tell me this is just a computer tweek.

Hey everyone I am so depressed now a days. My car knowledge is pretty basic but I am really trying to know everything there is about my V8 Soarer. Left my car undriven for only a couple of days now the Catalytic Converter overheat symbol comes on and I press down the pedal and I have absolutely no accerlation....I mean I floor the thing and I'm only going 60km/h and climbing very very slowly I also smell a faint burning odour this can't be good. Not cool at all...can't take her on the highway cause I can't get her to go fast enough...this has just happened out of the blue....can anyone help me...?

Sounds like you have a supercharger already...any links on where i can obtain one? FCD hmmm...i look into it thanks. Cost wise?

My Japanese Soarer 91/V8 tops out at 180/km per hour. Just found this out taking her out on the weekend. Before I found this out i was trying to get a Supercharger for my engine. So now the issue is.....is there any point to get one installed because of the speed restriction or can that be changed somehow through a little engine tweaking?

Hello hello everyone....I have a 91 Toyota Soarer RHD V8 limited edition which is running pretty smooth right now but I am a little paronoid about a problem i may or not have. Whenever i accerlerate say past 60Km/h or higher then brake suddenly this banner on my display starts to flash for a brief second and beep. Then it stops. Does this mean maybe the ABS is kicking in or is there something wrong. Clues?

Ahh yes my 91 Soarer needs some new clothes. But what to dress her in. In the market for a body kit but what kind. Should I go Polyurethane or Fiber Glass...which is better.

Yah it seems to me that the body hasn't changed much over the years so I am guessing that fitting a body kit for my 91 wouldn't be that hard if I wanted to use one meant for a later Soarer. I kinda like the JIC one or the RUNNER wide body.

Hey what's going on everyone....Just purchased a RHD 1991 Toyota Soarer V8 limited edition. Very interested in dressing her up a little and showing her off to the friends but there is a problem. Everytime i see a body kit for sale it's for 92 and later SC300/400 models. Is it possible for me to buy one of these many kits and get it modified onto my 91 or is it next to impossible. I know anything is pretty much possible when it comes to modiication for your car but is it going to be expensive customizing a newer kit onto an older model car....please help?
