  1. I had a similar issue recently on my 04. I had a thump or vibration on initial acceleration. It stayed at the dealer for 3 days. They replaced the upper strut bushings even took off and checked the tie rod ends. It turned out to be a steering coupler that was binding up. Replaced under warranty no more problems. I had one headlight also replaced under warranty for the condensation.
  2. 04 RX 330 I have trouble regulating the temperature to a comfortable level. This is my first Lexus/Toyota product. Since it has been cool lately 75 seems to warm the car up any lower and the air is too cool, but soon it gets too hot and then starts blowing cool air from the upper vents. AC is switched off. In the summer the temp once it levels out is either too warm or too cool. Maybe I am too senstive? I have owned numerous domestic branded vehicles with ATC and they seem to function well at 70 degrees. My last SUV before the RX was a Infinity QX4 and I could set the temp at 70 degrees and it fuctioned perfectly year round at that temp. I have been used to set it and forget it and let the ATC do its job. This RX330 I seem to always be fiddling with the temperature to balance the cabin temperature. Is there an adjustment ? Or am I just not getting it right. I have not read the novel in the glovebox to see if there are any tricks or tips. I am still under warranty should I take it in. Signed, Hot or Cold in Texas B)
  3. Can't speak for the Yoko's. I just installed a set of the Bridgestone Alenza's on my 04 RX330. Far superior to the Michelin's that lasted only 33k miles. The Bridgestone ride smoother and handle better. Can't speak for the Yoko's. I just installed a set of the Bridgestone Alenza's on my 04 RX330. 4. 04 RX330 33,000 miles. I have noticed a ticking noise when it first starts after sitting all night. It only lasts for maybe 30 seconds after startup. It sounds like the lifters are tapping. Is this something to be concerned about.
  5. My original Michelins at 33K miles are nearing replacement. Tread check was 4/32 at 30k miles. Still look OK but there getting noisy on corners and slippery in the rain. I have researched online and the Bridgestone Dueler H/L Alenza seems to get good reviews. Anyone have experince with these tires on a RX330. There much cheaper than the Michelin tire.
