  1. Hi, I have this strange problem where my heat and radio unit turns off randomly. This had happened a year ago, I took the car to Lexus dealer they fixed it. They mentioned it was just a loose connection. Car ran okay for a year. The problem has returned again. I hear a clicking noise, sounds like a relay contact, and the ECU and radio turns completely OFF. Then it turn ON when it wants to. This cycle keeps repeating at random intervals. I pulled the ECU and radio unit out and tried pushing the connectors in but it does not do anything? It seems like something is making the relay cut off the power to the whole unit. Any ideas as to what might be causing this and how can I get heat back. Winter is here and my car does not have heat. Appreciate your help. Thanks,
  2. Hi everyone, I have an ES300 1994. My radio and center console power started to cut in and out, I would hear a relay click and then the power would come back. It did it for about a week and then the whole thing stopped working. Now I have no power to Radio/AC Unit/Cigarette lighter. Has anyone encountered similar problem? Please point me to the right direction, where to look, possible relays which can do this? I already looked in the fuse box but no luck. The very fact the it was cutting in/out tells me it can not be a fuse, because fuse would just blow. Please help... any pointers greatly appreciated. Thanks,
  3. Hi members, I spent some time and was successful in putting an aux input for my 1994 ES300 factory radio (For Ipod etc.). The only thing I don't like is that the tape has to be spinning with a physical tape inside. It is not a problem but it is bugging me that I can not make the radio think that there is a tape and it is spinning. I can switch between tape and Ipod and all that. If anyone has played with their radio and has successfully made the radio think that there is a tape inside and the radio keeps the tape input selected, I would like to know. I thank you in advance for sharing your secret. Techi
