  1. Congrats that your car is in, sorry to hear about the blizzard. It sucks to get your brand new car dirty on the first day.
  2. I looked at the same cars and of course decided on the IS. For me there were several reasons. I believe Lexus will offer the best quality and after purchase service. All the quality surveys would suggest this to be the case. I much preferred the styling both inside and out of the IS over the others. I found the interior of the 3 series in particular to be very underwhelming. I didn't like the plastics and the overall shape of the dash in the BMW. In terms of the power and price, yes the Infiniti wins for the price, Lexus and the Infiniti are similar for power. The 328 is way down on power in comparison to both of the others. I just found that after driving them all it was the Lexus that I lusted after, even with the higher price than the Infiniti.
  3. I traded in the Acura TL for the IS350. Personally I think that the IS is a better car for many reasons. One big reason is Lexus quality vs. Acura quality as well as Lexus service. I finally gave up on Acura because of really poor customer service with warranty issues and what not. Although the TL is a great car to drive the IS is really much better built inside and out. I haven't seen the same type of build issues with the Lexus so far compared to what I saw on the TL in it's early stages. I think you'd find that even with the power difference which would be huge comparing the IS250 to the TL-S, I think you'll find that the handling of the IS to be miles better than the TL's with it's FWD. As someone mentioned if you have to take passengers on a regular basis then the TL has a nice big back seat which the IS certainly doesn't so that might sway you one way or the other. After 2 Acuras I won't be going back to them in quite a while.
  4. Congratulations Just take it out for a longggggg ride. Enjoy :) Congratulations, I just got my IS 350 two weeks ago. The IS is such a sweet ride, you're going to love it. The dealer told me that you don't really need to baby the engine. The only thing was to vary the rpms if you're on the highway, so don't use the cruise control for a while. Other than that have fun driving it.
