  1. it is your brake pad sensor. It is designed to inform you when the brake pads are getting very low on friction material and need replacing. It could also be a loose sensor wire if you know that the pads are good
  2. Yeah, I did notice that the other day. Driving to the highway it was pretty bad but after a good highway run the problem seemed better. The Lexus dealer want's $89 to test and see if the tranny has any stored codes. I think that unless he drives it with the scan tool attached during the occurrence he wont find anything. pretty annoying.
  3. I have a 95 ls400 w/ 85k. Whenever I take my foot abruptly off of the gas pedal while at any speed, the transmission jerks violently. It has been recently serviced (T-tech) but the problem did not go away. The NHTSA shows a similar complaint on their website with no resolution and it refers to a problem with the ECU cutting out momentarily. Help!
  4. I use Jiffy Lube and they use a machine called a T-Tech for power flushing both the transmission and the coolant system. Works great and runs around $80 per system.
