  1. Booster is leaking again. Hard brake means the brakes are bled, sinking brake when engine is running means the booster diaphragm is leaking. sorry. Where is the booster diaphragm located? Can I just replace the booster diaphragm ?
  2. I have a 90 ls 400 that has a spoggie brake padel. I replaced the Master Cyclinder, brake booster(used), and bled the brake for air. The padel is real hard, but when I start the vehicle, the padel sinks to the floor. When I cut it off, hard again. When I disconnected the vac line to the booster while vehicle running, the padel remained hard...Any suggestion what may be the problem?
  3. Usually, just have the timing belt done, and ask while inside motor, replace the water pump.
  4. Only person it'll *BLEEP* off is the tow truck driver trying to tow/repo your ride! Don't worry about it. Its not a big deal. You have the vin# also inside the door jam(drivers Door)
  5. I have a LS 400 90 model. Just recently, the brake pedal just went to the flood. Remind you, I havent driven the car in a while(garage kept). I start it up periodically. I replaced the master cyclinder and bleed brakes. I have a hard pedal after bleeding, but when I start it up, the pedal rides to the flood again. What are the chances it may be the brake booster? If so, how do I check to see if working properly. Perhaps, any other suggestions.
  6. I have 1990 LS 400. I replaced the Master cyclinder because the brake pedal went down close to the flood. I bleed the master cyclinder before installing. I bleed the lines for air, and still can't get a good pedal for driving condition. I removed all the wheels and brake pads to check for leakage. I discovered right rear cylinder was leaking. I replaced it. Still can't get a pedal. What is a good bleeding system to remove air, and get a good pedal. I tried RR,LR,RF,AND LF. Also I read somewhere here to, LF,RR,LR,ANDRF. Can someone share some light for a pedal for brakes. Is its possible for the ABS to malfuct.
