  1. Hey, does anyone have blackwood in his car? Seen some pics and it really looks cool :) I thought that it was only available for Japanese Aristos saw that some people now also have it in their US cars. Sooo cool :D :D :D

  4. Did the car shift down when you hit the accelerator? Try to reset the ECU. Probably the previous owner did not drive fast and the car adpated to this style. After the initial slow start, does it pick smoothly? Alex
  5. If you are looking for a comfy ride, then you should consider the Tein CS or Flex. Or, if you want HKS, HKS just launched the Hipermax LS Plus, which is basically a comfy tuned Hipermax II, with adjustment for stiffness. The normal LS does not have this. If you do not care about this feature, you can also consider Apexi WS. I have them and they give a very good ride and can be lowered a lot. I only paid about USD1000, including installation. By the way what rim sizes do you have? The rim size will have a big influence on your ride.
  6. Can you post some pics? How many bulbs are included? I heard that the new tail light has 4 bulbs and the old one 3 bulbs, so not do I need to do splicing to have all of them work?
  7. You can try the Axxis Deluxe Plus pads. I have them on my rears. Very quiet and almost no dust. By the way, I have a GS300. Alex
  8. If you want a comfortable ride there are several popular coilovers: 1. Tein CS 2. HKS LS+ (just came out, has adjustable stiffness, standard LS does not have this) 3. Apexi WS (cannot be adjusted for stiffness, but give very good comfort) I have the Apexi WS on my GS300. With 17s they feel too soft. With 18s they will perfect :) Alex
  9. Hi, I am not sure if there are camber kits available for the 1st Gen GS, but definitely none avail fro the 2nd Gen GS. I think you should just lower your car and then have the alignment checked. If you are only going to 17s and lower your car moderately, probably you do not need a camber kit. It also depends on where you live. I live in Hong Kong and the roads are sometimes not too good (with holes) and streets can be narrow. Lowering too much will make the car very uncomfortable, (to my opinion), especially for passenger. First generation GS300 parts may be difficult to get in the US, but are widely avail. here, with a lot of used parts also avail. Alex
  10. Tein HA are a good product, but for many people these are a bit too stiff. But, of course, all depends what you want. If you want good comfort, you can go for the Tein CS or Tein Flex. I also heard good reviews of the new HKS LS+, which are also adjustable in stiffness. If you do not mind the stiffness, and want a racy feeling then the Tein HA will be hard too beat. Alex
