  1. The Factory amps looks like it would be able to run with aftermarket HU. I don't know if there is a difference, but my old LS400 still ran the stock amp, and aftermarket HU. I don't see the 3rd +12v wire. I only see 2. Can you give me the names of the 3 +12v wire? You mentioned +B, that is constant power/main power. Mike
  2. Should be 2 screws for each sensor, unscrew pull out the sensor and screw the new one in. I don't think it's adjustable. Mike
  3. One of your throttle position sensors are bad. There is one for the Traction Control, and one for the throttle. It's probably the one for the throttle. If you have someone with the same car, switcht them out and see if the problem goes away. If you don't have any one to switch out, i will try to tell you how to check it with a voltmeter. Mike
  4. Check your spark plugs. Have you cleaned your engine compartment lately? The reason i ask is that, there is a channel that can hold water where your spark plugs go in, and if there is water in there it will cause it to misfire.
  5. I have a 97 SC400 and i just hardwired my aux input to the stock Nakamichi HU with cd changer. Sounds awesome! way better than the tape adapter and the FM transmitter.
  6. I've been searching for quite some time for a way to hook up to the Factory Headunit, so i can use my ipod. I've searched and searched. Didn't find anything for 92-97 SC's. The only thing i found is the Tape adapter (which makes a hissing noise) or the FM mod (which doesn't sound very good). So i did some testing, and now i have a hardwired input. It's Crisp and clear! I have a 97 SC400 with the Nakamichi with CD changer. Should work for other years with the same setup. Just wanted to let you guys know it's possible. Should i do a write up? Mike
