  1. I just went through this process. It is a pain. You need to buy them from lexus, they are different from other sensors that lexus uses on other models. You also need a sensor mounting kit which is roughly $30. I got a good deal on them from some dealership in Texas (Sewell I believe), it was roughly $400 for the set, saved me about $160 from the local dealership. I had the lexus dealer install the pressure sensors and mount the tires (nobody here seemed to know how or if they could be programmed by anybody other than a Lexus dealer), but I have to think that it is a fairly simple process.
  2. It is junk. Car and Driver tested it on a BMW awhile back and it did, nothing. Waste of money.
  3. Alright, not much experience with this on here I guess. I found out from a guy on ebay that they are different and now have part numbers. Funny thing is, each corner has its own part number and wonder what happens when rotating tires? What do I need to do to have the second set of pressure sensors linked up to the car? Does the stealer have to do this, or is it something I can do myself?
  4. I am looking to buy an extra set of rims for snow tires for our '06 SC430. Are all the Lexus tire pressure sensors the same, or do they vary by model? Can I use two sets of these sensors with the car as I will have one set for summer and one set for winter. Can anyone recommend where to buy them or know how much they cost?
