  1. This was just about one year ago. After a week or so, I took the car back for another alignment and that took care of it. I saw some postings back then about the difficulty of finding a good alignment shop and getting it done right the first time - the second time did it. A year later and 12000 more miles, the tires still look good.
  2. I've been reading the various discussions about how all of the dash indicator lights will come on, which signals a bad alternator. My 'tail light out' indicator slowly came on while driving (during the day with lights off) but none of the tail lights appear to be burned out. The warning light went off when I stopped for gas (at a bargain price of $2.29/gal...) but has since come on and off. None of the other indication lights have come on though. Is this the early alternator failure warning system or just something in the tail light circuit? Thanks for your comments.
  3. I just posted a similar question on the Wheels and Tires forum, only my LS is wearing on just the outer edge of right front tire. I had a Goodyear shop put on new tires and perform the 4 wheel alignment, but I can see wear after a week. I sure don't want to destroy these new tires... The car is a '90, but I've only got 83K on it.
  4. Hi, I have a '90 LS400 with 84K miles and just replaced all 4 tires. The right front has been slowing wearing on the outside edge. Since the tires were getting pretty old, I just let it wear instead of aligning. Well, after just 1 week on my new tires, I can already see slight wear on the right front, even though I had a 4 wheel alignment done by the Goodyear shop where I bought the tires. It also has a slight pull to the right. Has anyone seen this kind of wear after an alignment? Any thoughts or recommendations would be appreciated. Thanks
