Hey can I get a quote on a couple of things please... I have a 98 Gs400. Thanks 1. cigarette lighter 2. RH fender liner 3. Hood Lock Control cable 4. Hood Lock 5. A/C air refiner filter 6. Engine under cover #1 and #2 7. Engine under cover rear LH 8. Seat heater switch passenger side ( this may be one piece... both seat heaters work but the led indicator light does not light up on the passenger side) That's if for now thanks :)

I am debating whether to get the Apexi WS exhaust or Borla exhaust first ....or the SRT Intake first.....What do you guys think? Also I have heard something about the check engine light coming on after the SRT install?.... Is this common and if so is there a fix for it?

if you are talking about the Nor Cal videos I already have them downloaded to my comp but I am wondering about some semi- scientific methods of sound testing... i.e. the same sound device in the same location on from the same distance on the two differently equipped cars. And detailed up close photos of both of the exhausts from different angles....

This is the combo that I am thinking of but I have also been thinking of the Apexi WS (world sport) exhaust system for my GS400. Anyone have experience with this? How does it sound compared to the Borla? Also I am reading all about everyone installing these exhausts but I have no pics or sound files posted???!! C'mon guys...let's have em! Post! Post! Post! Hey All, This may be a dumb question....but can we adjust the HID headlights even thought they are auto leveling? I would like my headlights to point up slightly more than they do now. TIA,

I just installed my Eibach lowering springs on my 98 GS 400. I was a little worried about the install because every thing I had read prior to actually doing it said that it was hard and that there was a lot of elbow grease needed. I also heard that many people just take their cars to the dealer and have them installed. I guess it just depends on your level of automotive experience. For the first time doing a GS it took me about 6hrs....which is not bad because that includes me have to beat impact sockets onto two of my wheel locks b/c the Mc Gard key broke. The last shop I had install the tires must have put the lugs on super tight!! This really *BLEEP*ed me off. But once we got them off it was smooth sailing...oh yeah I stopped to eat a pizza too ;) I would say that I could do it again in about 3-4hrs... The car looks SO MUCH better now that it is lowered. I would say that the ride is a little bit rougher than stock but this may be due to my car having 100K on it and the struts may be worn out. I only installed the Eibach's b/c I don't have the money for coilovers yet, and I got the Eibach's cheap. But referring to the install...it is just a basic spring install and there weren't many surprises at all. It is best to DIY b/c you learn in the process and if you mess up you can always take it to someone to fix it. My buddy has a GS and now he wants to install them on his GS. When I do it again I will take digi pics and them make a write up to post on someone’s website unless I have mine up buy then....so that the forum members can have access to it. I couldn't find anything to help me when I was looking so maybe someone else will benefit from my experience. Cheers,

Ok guys my car has got about 100K on it now and I am wondering if I need some new struts or not? I have took my friends 98 GS out for a spin and his car feels stiffer than mine. His car has about 58K on it....so about 40K less than mine. What do you guys thinK?

SRT Intake is suppost to increase HP and improve the fuel economy.

Does anyone know if there are "special" kinds of XM antenas that you can get? i.e. ones that look like the Factory Lexus ones or BMW ones that look like fins?
